01. TOMODACHI LIFE 3DS
02. WATCH DOGS PS3
I think it is cheaper, when I got my copy the XBO version was a little cheaper.Any reason for the XBO version of Wolfenstein to chart higher than the PS4 version?
Titanfall seems to be doing really well in the UK.
Last gen (thinking NPD here) there was a big expectation that GTA4 would move hardware. Then the month came and went and the hardware bump didn't happen. (Seems like hardware might even have gone down, on a month-over-month basis? Edit: Yep, Xbox 360 and PS3 dropped on a weekly average basis from March to April.)Yeah I think GTA5 HD will do very well.
If I remember correctly, Killzone did better in Germany than UK. Was it only bundled in a few countries in Europe?Just like Killzone Shadowfall did.
Reason for them both?
- Bundles.
The bros have chosen their next gen home.
A 61% PS4 split for UFC v 39% for Xbone is even more lop-sidded than Watchdogs was, isn't it?
That's crazy. I wonder why.

That doesn't answer why it's doing better in the UK vs RotW/US though.
When the prices of the XBO and PS4 were announced I so desperately wanted this to happen. I figured that the parents of the 12-14 year olds who plague MP shooters would get the cheaper console for their kids. This dream was quickly dashed when I entered my first game of Titanfall and was greeted with high pitched voices. The little fuckers are still here.
Fuck my life.

There could still be an update on the matter later this week, but in the case there isn't:
Weeks to 1M in UK
PSP - 24
Wii - 38
PS3 - 47
DS - 51
3DS - >61 (64-68 depending on weekly sales)
PS4 - 30 weeks and counting
Week 1-5 sales (2013) - 530,000
Week 6-30 sales (2014) - < 470,000
It's pretty interesting. Can you add WiiU and Xbone to the list, with known numers as well please?
Xbone with Titanfall bundle, first price cut and kinectless sku should doing well and we know that it had outsold ps4 for at least a month (right?).
Is it? Xbone ltd figured were at 969k in the latest NPD on how many ever Xbonx are sold so far(I think 2.8 figure was close to it, couldnt find the number in my failed searches). Do we have any ltd on Titanfall/Xbone in UK lately?
Those kids grew up with Xbox. They were never going to switch to PS4.

Xbox One 2013 (first 6 weeks) - 364,000
Wii U 2012 (5 weeks) - 80,000
Wii U 2013 - it should be at 113,200 / 193,200

Xbox One outsold PS4 thanks to the Titanfall just the weeks leading to inFAMOUS being released, and mainly becuase PS4 was suffering shortages, IIRC.
Nope Watchdogs was a 65-35 split between the two versions at launch.
I wonder how Destiny is going to perform. It's marketed as a PS4 title, but Bungie has a strong following among Xbox owners. Who knows how that 's going to pan out.

Halo has a strong following among Xbox owners, but I very much doubt that anyone cares who actually makes the games. I'm expecting a similar split in favour of the PS4 for Destiny.
Why would it be anything like that. It'll probably be more or less the ratio of the consoles to each other.Honestly, I'm expecting 2.5:1 or even 3:1 split between Destiny PS4 and XB1. I can't tell you how many people I talk to that think its PS4 only already. Sony is going to push HARD this holiday season with Destiny marketing, so I fully expect the difference in copies sold to be huge.

don't count ya chickens yet kev!
not on my watch.....
gonna get one
I wonder if the digital percentage of purchases is higher in the UK because of this.what I dont get is, in my local Tesco (normal sized store) they have only 1 nintendo title... and that title is..... Luigis mansion 2. I like me some ghost hunting but seriously the game came out over a year ago, and theres modern titles thatd sell way better.
Are we still doing the Amazon comparison? Looks like the XB1 TF bundle (the discounted one) moved ahead of PS4 and WIU for June.
XB1 TF Bundle -> 38
PS4 -> 46
Wii U MK8 Bundle -> 57

Huh, wasn't there talk about Germany being the biggest market in Europe?
Seems that's not really the case if I'm interpreting those numbers correctly.

Lot more pc gamers here in Germany than in the UK. Digital sales aren't counted in those figures.
