I love the "new" (as in when it came in 2005 or whenever) Doctor Who. I never got into the older ones as it didn't really interest me that much. I need to catch up on the show now though (I'm like a season behind).

Not the franchise as a whole, no. But the Big Finish audio stories and Eighth Doctor Adventure novels were not mainstream media. NuWho inarguably was.

Although it is more popular than ever, seeing as the older fans still like it, and there's actually a major US fanbase now.
Controversial opinion: I don't like Moffat much because he threw much of 50 years of canon out of the window, or simply bent it beyond the original resemblance. I still don't buy that there's more than 13 Doctors. It was clearly shoehorned in just to make more money. I do like him in other areas, but I consider his Who interpretation to be separate from T.Davies' version, which continued pre-existing Who rather well, in spite of the huge gap of time between the two.
Hahaha probably my fault. I like Moffats version. Not as much as I liked T Davies'; but this current series has been really good so far.

I'm okay with the wait, actually. Gives me time to play more MH3U and other games.
Thing is the 3DS install base is at least 8 times larger than the Wii U, and since the 3DS version came out first there's not that much incentive to get the U version unless you've specifically been following the game and know exactly what it offers compared to the 3DS one.
The U version will move at least some systems, and I imagine that the game will have a good sales/userbase ratio, but the two are highly unlikely to come close barring some freak console shortage on Sony and Microsoft's part.

I've already made all the Dire Miralis armours and weapons, and the Gold and Silver Rath stuff, too. There's only so much I can do~ Inevitably, I'll have to post a video on YouTube of me fighting a Savage Deviljho with no armour, like they always do. :c
But I played 4 on my friends' imported 3DS a while back, and it makes 3U seem crap in comparison. And 4U makes 4 look crap in comparison. The last great Capcom game, maybe...?
My problem is that I've been waiting for about a year, now.
Oh, well that's that sorted, then. Why didn't they put in all the effort for us 3DS owners instead? >:c

Heh. My friend and I are barely HR3 right now, and I've barely gotten to the High-rank stuff offline. I still have a long way to go with MH3U. Started with Tri on the Wii when it came out but I never liked it as much as I do now for some reason.
And now Bayonetta 2's online co-op will eat up some of our MH3U time... so good.

I think SSBWiiU will be a pretty big seller in the west. In the US SSB3DS got *570k this first two days while MK8 got 350k the first two days back in May so I don't think the difference will that big in the west. WiiU owners are big fans of Nintendo so big titles tend to punch above the weight.
