Jedah and Morrigan are good. Like the Techno and Jedah reminds me a bit of Juris SFV theme which I like. Chris theme is fucking trash though. All they did was slow down the RE5 Mercs song and its bland as hell. Should've kept with the techno aesthetic and given him rust in summer 08

Spidey's theme feels like it's going for a mix of Danny Elfman's iconic theme mixed with some of Brian Tyler's MCU compositions. It's neat but I still kinda miss the jazzy, mischievous tune he had in previous games. It fit so well for a more street level hero like him.

The chances are the 6 costumes are for the dlc characters like sfv...I've been saying for a while now that sfv has been the basis for a lot of things so far.

According to the PSN store it includes: Warrior Thor, Evil Ryu, Gladiator Hulk, Command Mission MMX premium costumes, exclusive PS4 theme, the base game, and the Character Pass

Note - it says Character Pass, NOT Season Pass, which is what is sold on Gamestop's website for $30.

Edit - I don't know what the Season Pass includes. But I'm still buying it, as it will likely be cheaper than buying all the crap individually.

Seems like the Marvel side of the roster is going to be on average better than the Capcom side. Worst character right now on Marvel side appears to be Hulk and he isn't even that bad.

Whereas Capcom has Chris, Ryu, maybe Haggar, Nemesis maybe even Arthur. Not that these characters are bad but lower tier than what the expected power level is going to be in this game.

Okay, after Basgrospoing showed them off on his french stream just now I got to say that Ghost Rider and Spiderman are BOTH way better. Ghost Rider especially got some tools. Spiderman got the basics of what he needed though which was input changes and command normals that move him forward that eat up lots of space that are cancellable to aid him in combos. Plus his slingshot into a kick thing causes wall bounce which will be very useful for him because I'm betting you can web swing folks after ending stuff in that.

Im thinking Spiderman/Nova would do well. Spider combos into the whole wallbounce webswing and then hard tag to Nova while they're stuck in the throw animation since he can otg from anywhere. Anyone with long range pickups might be good. Kinda wanting to try Strider with that combo premise with spidey.

Is there any proper Spencer footage? I have a feeling he's going to be on the lower end of the cast this time with all the crazy day one shit some of these characters got but I would like to hope he's at least still decent and fun to play.

The end credits say that the voice recording was handled by New Generation Pictures, the same studio as MvC3 and SFV. Weird.

*Heartless Spire is now a move you can go into launcher or special cancel into. Allows him to use it for OTG purposes into combos ad create better walls (Spire into Hell flame Up).

*Characters take chip from normals of they are in the air. This is insane for him.

*Universal OTG means Ghost Rider can OTG with his sweep which has massive range.

*Ghost Rider has the universal j.KHK spike which means he can convert combos from super jump height which he couldn't do before.

*Smaller screen size means his normals are deadlier.

*All of his chain moves basically act like long ranged beams for assist purposes with a tag. Jump d+HP into tag is really oppressive.

*DUD jumping makes all of his air normals much threatening especially his j.HP which hits all around him..

*Without a Vergil in this game, no one can contest or punish him in ground normals war.

*Stuff like Time stone means he can escape bad situations and turn the tide.

They must have gotten a new voice director. That's the only way to explain such a drastic change in the overall direction in the voice overs.


Perhaps the story mode VOs are good, but those in-combat VOs leave a lot to be desired.

Also, while there was a lot of outsourcing to smaller companies (like every major game made these days), Capcom was telling the truth about this being developed in-house. There's no major partner studio like Eighting or Dimps listed in the credits.

Biggest megaton for me today is that they hid classic Marvel remixes lol. Someone should beat arcade with Nova so I can hear his already.
