Yep seems to be the american version and the subtitle thing is on and off so the language thing is probably english, spanish and french for the subtitles.

I think that people in here and other metroid fans are aware that this game probably isn't the second coming of christ (super metroid/Metroid Prime) and have lowered their expectations accordingly.
But don't get me wrong, understanding the critisism doesn't mean you can't look forward to the game. I'm hyped as hell, but I still think my expectations are realistic. I'm gonna enjoy and savour the game for what it is, and I'm sure I'm gonna have a blast playing it...
