Plug? I meant this. For anyone with both that and a DSi, I'd just like to know, I don't play my DS without it.VOOK said:It's got a different plug... probably not.
JennyTablina said:My black DSi is confirmed for tomorrow by GAME
Apparently GAME branches are also offering free insurance on the system and £5 store credit when you trade in ANY 2 DS games
I have a few DS games I wont mind trading but I dont normally do insurance: should I do it?

Gamecocks625 said:Nice. What's browsing GAF like on the DSi? Quick? Slow? Horrible? Great? Mushy? Slimy?
wackojackosnose said:Dammit!
I preordered at Gamestation cos I wanted GTA for £10, but how does insurance for the DSi work especially considering the online DSiWare aspect of the machine?
hulot said:Hmm, important question, does the DSi fit into the Hori DSLite stand?
Gamecocks625 said:Wow, that thing is a beast. Make sure it doesn't turn on you
Thanks!Chairhome said:I had the same question a few weeks (I think in the Accessory thread), but I didn't really get an answer. Maybe we're the only two cool people that have the stand and are planning on getting a DSi. I'm assuming that since that stand is compatible with the original DS, it will at least fit, but it might not be as snug as it should be. I'll let you know next week.
Conrad Link said:I noticed the Action Replay doesn't work either, Nintendo are on a rampage!
Speaking of accessories, whats a good case to get for the DSi? I want one that can hold some games as well as I like to carry round a few with me. I planned to do a Play-Asia order soon anyway, might as well look for one there.

Downhome said:Are any of you guys going to post some pictures of your local midnight launch? I may try to click one or two on my cell phone if I remember to do so. I'm interested in what sort of crowds will be out.
Heck, how have the crowds been around the world so far?

I plan on getting all of the launch titles from the DSi shop. What is everyone else downloading on day 1?

DSi supports SDHC card, so the limit is 32 GB. Yes, you can store the DSiWare games on the SD card, but you can't play the games from it.JohnTinker said:Whats the highest limit of storage on an SD card that the DSi can take?
Can DSiWare be stored on the SD card and played from/transferred over from the SD card? Or does it only stay in the on-board storage?
Netto-kun said:DSi supports SDHC card, so the limit is 32 GB. Yes, you can store the DSiWare games on the SD card, but you can't play the games from it.
Yes. Let's pray that Nintendo will add a SD Card Menu which is similar to the one on Wii.:lolJohnTinker said:So they can just transfer back and forth?
DeaconKnowledge said:How do you mean? Is it done like the Wii where it shoots them into the onboard flash or do you have to move them to play them?

Anyone know why?

Damn that's awesome. All the ones in Chicago are in areas that aren't very accessible by train and/or are pretty rough it looks like... probably not worth another $20. Oh well, thanks for the heads up!womp said:GameCrazy is offering $90.
I'm a UK owner as well and it is down for me as well. Don't worry, your DSi isn't borked.123rl said:I've got a UK model and I can't connect to the DSIWare shop. JennyTablina said:Got a call today: Cambridge store opening at 8am and my Black DSi order is secure so I can go pick it up anytime hopefully.
Also checked out the deal a little more: seems this is an adaption of the 2 DS game for £25 deal starting tomorrow. ANY 2 games for a new DS Game at £4.99 or £25 in-store credit.
You can tell he didn't read the manual before hand. If he had he would have known that the sound recorder has two additional sound affects per option, so there are 12 effects in total rather than four.Chairhome said:On joystq, there's a DS Lite vs DSi comparison and some walkthroughs of the Camera and Sound apps. I find the walkthrough more exciting than the author does.
As soon as this stuff is up and running you'll get 1000 free points when you enter the shop.123rl said:I guess that's the reason then - as long as I don't have a faulty unit, I'm happy.
I've just noticed the US box has a mention of free games/downloads when you register and connect to DSIWare. I've just realised there is absolutely no mention of this on the UK box/in the manual. So does anyone know if Europe gets it too or did we get shafted again?
Shame the pound sterling is so weak at the moment otherwise I may have been tempted to import that.mileS said:Not sure if this has been posted yet but I thought it was pretty cool.
