So after the 3 month trial it works with subscription fees, right? How does that work? Can you just stop paying/playing whenever you want? And resume again when you want with the same character(s)?

Not sure if you'll keep the same characters but I'm assuming we can resume our characters after ending and resubscribing. Seems like a terrible move if they get rid of your characters because you unsubscribed.
This is my only iOS MMO that I've played and 18 levels in, for a handheld MMO it feels great. Comparing it to other MMOs, it doesn't really do anything new. You're still fetching X, killing n number of Y, and such.
I think what's attractive is the ability to start up an MMO and quickly jump in and start playing from anywhere in the house and not be tied to a desk.

I can tank two mobs 3 or 4 levels higher then me but then I have to scram and balance my one single regen skill perfectly, man I really would love to have a leech skill lol.Pastry said:

Found a really good level 13 bow, 25-31 damage with 6 range attack boost, I could make 1 gold from it most likely but a gaffer can have it

The bow is amazing for that level, you can have it! Add user "defence" to your friends list when I am online and I can mail it to you in-game.
Updated my name on page 1, I spent it all lower case in-game and I heard caps can say that i'm not there even though I am, might be worth the OP making a username list for us to easily glance and app people from. I could do with some friends from here to chat too, the game feels lonely right now despite hundreds playing.
Log into gameloft live and you can see how many are playing, 2 days back in the mid afternoon there was 960 people online for Order&Chaos, i'd think it's over 1000 easily right now.

3) You click on her once (if you're fast enough) and click "complete" to finish the quick, low reward referral quest. At this point, the referral quest vanishes from your quest log.
4) By now she's probably moving along as someone else in the waiting group has feverishly initiated the quest for his/her self/team.
5) You may be thinking that since you managed to hit "complete" in time, that you're good to go, but if you follow her at this point, you're not really engaged in the quest proper.
6) Instead, you should wait another 5+ minutes for her to respawn AGAIN! At this point, clicking on her will prompt you to accept the REAL quest.
7) Don't waste time reading the details. Skip to the bottom ASAP and hit "accept" to start the real quest.
8) Profit (or sob over a cold one at the time wasted due to such inept game design).
It's very likely that you'll manage to complete step 3 and eliminate the referral quest from your log, but fail to secure step 7 and initiating the real quest. So you might follow along thinking that you nailed it after step 3, and once the quest (that you're not really on) is "done" feel cheaped out of exp and rewards, and notice that there's no reference to the quest in your log any longer.
That's what happened to me. And probably many more. I finally 'got' how this REALLY works in the Tommy/Dark Forest quest on Tear Coast, and though I'm way too weak to solo that one, returned back to the Arcadian Forest and tried this out with the spy lady. It worked without a hitch.

Really wish the newer ipods could tv out like ipad 2, this game is asking for it. It's really clean to stare at as it is but my eyes kill after a while because of the retina display.

This game and escort quests don't sit well with me. Stuck now with only this quest in the swamp of wyrms (retired sheriff). Not only do you have to wait 10 min for the respawn and fight 10 others to click first, it also got stuck midway through due to enemies respawning too fast so that the escort leeched infinitely....
Level 24 now though, still fun enough.

it's becoming clear now that gameloft made a few schoolboy errors with their mid-game and pvp stuff, I still enjoy this game but they need to patch and refine some things, include a few more teleport locations to keep the game flowing and stop over the top ganking somehow (change pvp areas maybe)

Sorry guys! I'm the one with the character named "Sinjin." The Acadian Server was too crowded, so I jumped ship to one of the other servers to get a little elbow room. Hope the GAF guild has fun with the game. I'm enjoying it quite a bit when I find time to play.

Ready to move on to the demon-infested south now that I'm out of quests (save for the referral to the south) but sadly haven't had a chance to play yet this week.
Posted this in the iOS gaming thread too, but, what would y'all recommend for an alt? I'm really enjoying my level 21 monk but I'd like an alt to mess around with preferably a warrior or ranger. I think a Ranger could be fun but I dont know how well each class solos later in the game.

If you're familiar with WoW, the Ranger is very much like a Rogue, with added Hunter skills so you have stealth and various bow skills (you can spec in either direction or mix it up). I'm level 25 currently and the dps output is fairly high but you're still quite vulnerable. No idea if other classes have a sprint skill but it's a real blessing especially since it works when in stealth.Pastry said:

Is anyone else still playing this? I've only bumped into Pastry in my playing so far hehe, I'm hitting level 46 as a Ranger slowly grinding through the Desert zone (which horribly lacks quests!). Still enjoyable to play however, Gameloft exceeded my expectations quite a bit.

Just started playing this. Quite interesting to play on an iPad although it lags like a bitch on my WiFi and I have no idea why.
Anyway, Undead Mage on Observer's Market, so if there's a guild there pleaseadd me.
I'm also surpised at ho pw decent it looks on iPad 1. It has popup and it's full of aliasing but it's OK. I can't wait to see what devs can come up with in a few years with A5 and later A6 hardware.

My wife bought this app over the weekend, I gather once the 3 months free ends they don't start auto charging your itunes accounts for the subscription do they?
I hope it's all managed via the in-app purchase system, I don't want to commit to anything in the huge terms & conditions.

Got this a few days ago from Amazon, just wondering if anyone stills plays.
I did a search and this is all I found. I just wanted to post that O&C2 is a damn fine game. Seems pretty huge too. I haven't tried a mobile MMO like this in some time (a WoW clone) but this one is polished, fun writing, and has cool char enhancement systems. Gear / loot system seems good too.
