One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
I'll say it...that doesn't look like it would take 24 hours, 7 days to make.

It's constantly getting destroyed by the ambient currents. It's like trying to build an elaborate sand castle on the edge of the beach.

I love his little face as he does it. I just picture him going, "Maaaaaaaaan, this shit is gonna get me laid brah brah!" He just seems so happy.

Nature never ceases to amaze.
At this point, it keeps one-upping itself to get in on the next David Attenborough narration.

It looks cool to us because we lack context but that is basically close up pufferfish porn and it is nasty.

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
That lil fish has more artistic talent than than most liberal arts graduates.

It's like watching a living 3D printer. Absolutely amazing. At what point in its evolutionary development did this begin I wonder?

I did not know fish can understand complex patterns like this let alone create them. I wonder how similar these designs compare to other male pufferfish and if it means something to the species.

And the fish using its mouth to grab things is so cartoony!

I don't think I've ever seen a fish do something that awesome hbu?

Incredible, thanks for sharing this.

Seems too complicated for it to be genetically driven, is this an example of learned culture in fish? Seems it would take a decent amount of spatial memory to complete the task too. I wonder how much variety there is in the types of shapes they produce...
