Nintendo has gone into deals with DigitalArts to make sure Opera DS is kid friendly. That means no swearing, porno, bad men, etc on your DS - to protect the children of course :)

So for you people worried about DS Web Browser causing harm to kids around you, worry no more since this brilliant feature is there from day one.

Oh yeh, this 'service' is optional if you pay $2.70 a month. Great huh :|

You can browse porno if you want by not buying it.

I hope that a feature that can be disabled. It would render the browser worthless otherwise.

If this is a proxy service then it's doomed to failure. If it became popular, i'm sure a workaround would be more popular than the MK blood code.

I think you need to pay to get the filtering service. This service is basically irrelevant for most adults buying this. In anycase, I still don't get the need to browse anything on a portable gaming machine.

It's a novelty I guess.

Would be cool if the card it came on had a little bit of extra memory to have a built in cache, and to have cookies and stuff on it. Also a little memory to download PRON.

Unnecessary feature since most kids would give up after waiting five minutes for the pages to render. Seriously, the browser was almost that slow at E3. I'll be shocked if they managed to optimize it into something practical in such a short time since then. The interface is neat though!

Why would anyone want this thing? Well, those of us who don't have laptops might be able to take the DS on road trips and check email in McDonald's and hotels along the way. And you can surf anywhere in the home. It is definitely useless if you have a laptop, though.

What program do you use to photoshop a picture?
I agree. Would be nice to have extra memory that goes in the gba slot without looking inconspicuous. I wish nintendo would come out with an organizer program for the DS since I've opted out carrying my laptop around.
