Basically if you have gone to Twitch you probably know about what I'm going to talk about but for those that don't I will tell you. So on Twitch there are these streams from some girls that play games but have a text to speech programs that reads donations and these donations are from trolls and they basically exploit trolls by having trolls donate to them and these streamers feed them by acting, screaming or crying and these "Troll exploit streams" (what I'm calling it) get big views on twitch and I decided to finally bring this up because at this moment while browsing twitch I saw one of these Troll exploit streams going on.

This is sorta hard to explain and more of a you have to see it to believe it type of thing and I could probably show you some examples but might not be good to give these streamers more attention but you could probably just look it up on google or YouTube for some example of these type of streams. I never knew this was actually a thing but the first time I saw this happening was from a popular female streamer and thought she was getting attacked by these trolls calling her names and stuff and then she started crying and wanted them to leave her alone.

I just think it's pathetic that Twitch let these streams happen and go on, they just serve no purpose on a game live streaming platform like Twitch. I just want people to find out that this is going on and nobody has said or done anything about it until now.

There's quite a handful of streams on twitch which are there purely to get donations, either they have a small game window in the corner or they do stupid stuff which sadly pulls in the viewers which in turn get's them donations, subs and ad money.

It's not going to go away unless twitch really buckle down on it but they won't while it feeds their pockets too.

Twitch isn't really a dedicated gaming stream websitesince they now feature music, live concerts and creative catagories.

Why does this bother you? Are these channels stopping you from watching entertaining streams? Are you watching these streams?
Yes, these channels are prevalent on Twitch, but I don't mind because I don't come across them at all. I have the channels I watch, and there is no crossover between the two. Let the people that participate and enioy these channels enjoy them, and let the streamers that host these things continue to do so.

The streamer gets harassed because she is allowing trolls to do so to rack in money. Who gives a shit if she's making money out of assholes?

It's generally not a good image for a company to have scam artists taking advantage of their platform.

So are you upset about the trolls being exploited or the women being harassed? From what you're describing, it sounds like they're making money off assholes.

Actually prefer this as an alternative for dealing with the people who harass streamers. Trolls are so desperate for attention that they actually spend money to attempt troll someone who in reality doesn't give a shit. Love it. Plus you could always do what I do and just not watch those streams if they bother you so much.

Never had any interest in Twitch myself, but the solution seems simple. If they're breaking the rules and you want something done about it, report them. If they're simply doing stuff which is allowed but you don't approve, ignore their streams.

The donations get read by that voice program and their either swears for the streamer and just plain terrible stuff but these streamers never turn it off because they respond to these trolls and thus more donate

Twitch search and discovery options are completely crap though, these types of girls streaming are certainly not in the top half lol. But seriously even as someone who is not looking for stuff like this finding a new/stream less than 100 or so viewers is way to much of a chore on twitch.

But yeah just don't watch/click them. Its how I survive twitch.

It's more that these girls (KaceyTron) are not producing anything of substance or value. At least Bieber's music is enjoyable to some, and PewDiePie is entertaining.

I guess Kacey's retarded breakdowns could be called entertainment.
