Tragedy strikes man while driving, masturbating and viewing porn

"DETROIT, Mich. — A man who died in a weekend crash was watching pornography while he was driving, Michigan State Police tell FOX 2 in Detroit.

The crash happened just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday on a ramp from M-10 to southbound I-75, according to FOX 2.

Police told FOX 2 on Tuesday that the 58-year-old man was watching porn and masturbating prior to the one-car crash.

The man was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected through the sunroof, FOX 2 reports. He died at the scene.

No other injuries were reported."

1) Half of his body was dangling out the sunroof with the other half dangling inside.
2) Half of his body was outside of the car somewhere after being ejected through the sunroof with the other half of his body remaining in the car; in this case, he would have been cut into two pieces.

My guess is #1 is what happened. Sad thing either way. I wonder if he was drunk? Seems like a lot of bad decisions to make all at once, more than I'd expect for a sober person to make.

You can certainly partially eject while diving: Sploof

Subsequent investigation by forensic pathologists determined Hellevik, being exposed to the highest pressure gradient and in the process of moving to secure the inner door, was forced through the 60 centimetres (24 in) in diameter opening created by the jammed interior trunk door by escaping air and violently dismembered, including bisection of the thoracoabdominal cavity which further resulted in expulsion of all internal organs of the chest and abdomen except the trachea and a section of small intestine and of the thoracic spine and projecting them some distance, one section later being found 10 metres (30 ft) vertically above the exterior pressure door.[5]

Sucks for the guy but if you're already going to be doing dangerous shit while driving, at least wear a seat belt you know?
