Chandelure looks like a hell of a lot of fun and is my favourite pokemon without counting a few legends. I'm definitely going to main Chandelure and it is the main reason I am excited for this game again. I heard about the no dlc fighters thing though... that sucks.

I might get this game, though I'm kinda wary because I can't play online with my Wii U since there is no ethernet port and the wireless/wifi is terrible. I gave up on Smash because of that, and it might happen again with this.

I can confirm it works really well, though I've only used it on my Wii. But it's generally considered to be a very good adapter. Yeah it's $10 you shouldn't have to spend, but I recommend just sucking it up. It'll be worth it. Probably.

What I meant was that he's finally finished uploading all of them, since Suicune, the best mon, wasn't uploaded until a couple days ago. I mean, IMO it's not really worth making a thread for something that isn't finished yet, but now that he's finished it's worth making a thread about.

For those that have been playing it (or keeping up), what's the general entry level play here like? Easy to pick up, ridiculous to master like Smash, or a more "straight forward" curve like Street Fighter?

smash is not ridiculous to smart at all SF is way more complicated to get into.

Chandelure is still the best one by a mile. That laser spam looks super annoying/fun

Critical hits in this game are just counterhits. Nothing to do with the RNG.

Instead, Leaf Blade's effect is that if you hit with the tip it does more damage.
