D3 Publisher and Konami Announce their TGS 2016 lineup.

Seems like the info came out for the D3 Publisher and while no one gives a fuck what Konami is doing figured would throw it in here anyways also. lol

TGS will be starting this month from the 15th till the 18th. 2 Business days and 2 Public days.

Konami announces TGS 2016 lineup

Kinda weird though to see in the Konami lineup as "partner title" Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is listed.

Am hoping one of the things D3 has listed under unannounced is a new Onechanbara game. An actual new game and not a rehash of a previous release.

Man, Konami fell off so hard as far as console games. I'd trade most of Verendus' rumors (except the superhero stuff, lol) that have come true if Suikoden VI were a thing but it just doesn't feel like this company would think to do something like that as it is.

Pretty much Konami is a massive shell of what it used to be. Will be interesting to see how many people actually stick to their guns with being pissed off with Konami when MGSurvive sales numbers come in after release.

Being one that grew up with the company not exactly happy with all thats happened over the years...

Its weird that the MGSurvive game isnt on the list as was expecting them to show it off at TGS?

I had completely missed that Neo Atlas game being announced. I'm sure I and about four other people would love a localization of this one.

Thats weird considering you would think Falcom is large enough to have its own little space or something. Then again Konami doesnt exactly have much to show so renting out space of their own could see that happening in order to draw people to their booth lol.

Since I always hear that whenever falcom does like a goods booth the thing gets raided hard day 1.

As I said in the other thread, I think there's a decent chance the D3 games are otome. They seem to have a decent output of the stuff on Vita.

If not, I guess some gimmicky VR stuff. Natsuiro High School VR.

Yeah that too. Though seeing all the crazy shit we have at the moment I kinda wonder how would they top that in their next game lol

As long as the Fencer armor comes back Ill be happy so I can do my idiotic boosting using the pile bunkers again.

Ah, that's good. Higher difficulty level, more playable characters, more content in general. I like it. Was hoping for a little more details, like maybe some combat/level tweaks, but 60fps and all that other stuff sounds pretty great.

Fair enough. I haven't played it but a Japanese speaking friend of mine calls it Tokyo Xanabad so I assumed there were little things combat wise that could be changed. I do know that people complained about the dungeons being Cold Steel's school dungeon copy pasted.

What are the odds it's another EDF? Can already feel I'm setting my self up for disappointment, but I really hope one of the unannounced titles is the next EDF.

Yeah dungeons were not exactly interesting personally. So can see why folks would not be happy with that. The combat and switching between characters is the usual Falcom action stuff so there wasnt really a problem with that.

They really did go hard on the whole school setting whatnots though with it being the "popular" genre at the time. So with that and how wordy things are am sure irritated the attention span of a goldfish crowd.

No idea unfortunately. Though seeing how its one of their staple series at least you would imagine its a possibility.

Chaotic, but not really something I want. When it comes to EDF I pretty much just want more. More classes, more weapons, more enemies on screen. Make sure we hit single digit fps regardless of what platform it's on :)

Most def more weapons, since it was kinda unfortunate when they added all the new classes how it really cut down on the general assortment of stuff.

I don't think Metal Gear Survive will do extraordinarily well, but I do think they have a good chance at winning over a chunk of the MGSV fanbase with the appeal of TPP's mechanics (Metal Gear Online crowd in particular). To your latter point, I'm not so sure either. A surprise, maybe? They hinted at showing off gameplay soon, so it would be a bit surprising for them not to have a presentation at TGS.

That's great. Really curious as to how they plan on topping 4.1. It won't be easy. I still have so much left to do in that game, despite having played so much... One of the best experiences I've ever had with co-op.
