Will be out in Spring 2017.

I googled in case this was already a thing, no it isn't it seems.

This actually makes sense I think FHW published the 3DS version in Japan, but I don't think they brought the other versions over.

Certainly didn't expect a 3DS-exclusive sequel.

Oh wow. First game was janky, but, I had some fun with it. Certainly not the worst Trials clone out there.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Must have sold quite good on 3DS compared to the other system - it was a pretty good game and quite cheap iirc. They made the right call with porting the first one to 3DS.

Really surprised at the sale of the 3ds version being high enough to warrant an exclusive sequel. Sales and the lack of similar games on the 3ds must have really helped it out. Best of luck to the devs!

:O

Please tell me this is coming to the US eshop. I absolutely love the first game. Put hours and hours into the track editor alone.

Wow the original was a Vita/PS3 game first so this is a bit of a surprise.

Eshop sales in Japan must be beastly.

if only you'd read the first few posts in this very very short thread...

says nothing about how much content there is whatsoever.
I knew someone who spent 50 hours with the puzzles&dragons demo. That's a one-stage demo. it doesn't need much content to spend a lot of time with a game. Judging from this thread this could be just like that (which I doubt but still)
janky is also a pretty useless term...

so my question remains:
how much (good) content is there?

Good times! I liked Urban Trials a whole lot on Vita (it did help that I was playing on a platform with no version of Trials, nyaa to RedLynx there ... but then again, I've played some Trials and find UTF's more chaotic and setpiece-driven design more my style.) Did not play the 3DS version, but even if that's the only version for the sequel (I'm going to assume it's not and we'll hear more publishing plans later?), videos show the 3DS version for the first game to be a pretty capable platform and I hope the sequel keeps up.

Been interested in Tate Multimedia's work for a bit (I liked Kao back in the day) so it'd be good if this turned into a franchise for them.
