It is no change for the Top 3 as ‘Bioshock: The Collection’ (-50%) holds on to No1 for a second week ahead of ‘PES 2017’ (-48%) at No2 and ‘NBA 2K17’ (-51%) at No3.

Another ‘collection’ has to settle for a debut at No4 with ‘Destiny: The Collection’ launched on Tuesday becoming the 3rd itineration of a title which is now 2 years old. The title bundles all four expansions including ‘Rise of Iron’ which was also launched separately via digital download on Tuesday. ‘Overwatch’ (-19%) slips one place to No5, ahead of ‘Rocket League’ (+19%) which is a non-mover at No6. ‘Fallout 4’ (+102%) jumps back in to the Top 10 at No7 boosted by a retailer promotion, while ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+11%) remains a strong performer holding on to No8. ‘Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ (+24%) jumps 2 places, back in to the Top 10 at No9 helped by renewed sales of the PS4 hardware bundle. ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ (-12%) almost loses its grip on the Top 10 dropping from No7 to No10. ‘Recore’ (-53%) moves out of the Top 10, down from No5 to No13, while ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ (+288%) re-appears in the chart at No23 on the back of promoted sales of the Limited Edition. Although available through a ‘play it early’ Ultimate Edition for ‘Forza Horizon 3’ and bundled early with the new Xbox One S 500GB/1TB consoles in the case of FIFA 17, both titles will chart next week as part of their official launch.

I assumed Forza Horizon 3 had been released last week for some reason. Apparently not.

Edit: Tomorrow. That explains the constant adverts.

FH3 Ultimate Edition released on Friday - I'm surprised there's no record of it on the charts unless all those sales will count for Week 39 when the standard game is released?

From the OP: "Although available through a ‘play it early’ Ultimate Edition for ‘Forza Horizon 3’ and bundled early with the new Xbox One S 500GB/1TB consoles in the case of FIFA 17, both titles will chart next week as part of their official launch."

'Will chart next week' probably means that all sales on Friday will count toward this week (39).

France doing the good work.

So it should be counted as PC sale, not XBO.

They're not separable. One is the other.

You're basically suggesting that every PlayAnywhere title should be considered as being equivalent to 0 digital XB1 sales. Why should they be counted as PC sales, but not simply counted as XB1 sales? Same argument really.

Mpl90

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 had a rather soft second week drop, less than 50% after all. Eh, didn't expect that.

I'm really eager to know Dragon Quest VII sales in France: top 3 was expected, even considering the other major releases from last week (quite surprised to see NBA doing better than PES in France, by the way).

No, I'm sugesting you can't count a PlayAnywhere digital game as two copies sold.

Neither am I?

I'm just stating that it's not as simple as "UK digital prices suck, not many people would have bought digital as a result". The digital side has actual tangible benefits over the slightly cheaper physical version... such as an entire additional platform it can be played on. That has value, even if you may be looking to play it only on XB1 right now.

Interesting that XBOne Destiny beat the PS4 version, especially in view of last weeks splits. Any particular reason?

I should probably have read the OP a bit more closely haha :') I'm presuming they will all count together, surely.

PES didn´t have that great of a first week and it was on sale on a couple of places.

Yeah, that's kinda odd, especially since Destiny have always been better and more associated with Playstation. I guess the shooter crowd still really like their Xbox's.

Videogamer just said

FYI the 'play it early’ Ultimate Edition of Forza Horizon 3 will count towards chart position next week

I'm assuming the PC and Xbox version will be counted as being the same thing. Does the PAL region track digital sales, thought I remember reading that?

Even with the PS deal Destiny is pretty popular on Xbox also. I believe we got some stats not long ago from a third party site that tracks Destiny stats. Wich showed the playerbase. It was 50% PS4, 45% Xbox One and the remaining 5% was last gen consoles.

‘Rocket League’ (+19%)

That's amazing for a game released well over a year ago digitally and a couple of months ago pyshically, amazing game an totally justified imo but still pretty amazing boxed sales in the UK

Probably PS4 losing steam? just saying please don't block me.

Nope, they do not track digital sales but I believe Videogamer is referring to the physical copies of FH3 Ultimate edition.

12% drop compared to last week and 3-4k unit sold range, DEM LEGS. :p

People don't know what "legs" mean, they do?
You sure get worked up when people mention legs and it has nothing to do with Splatoon, don't you? :p

I don't agree with them that those legs are great or whatever, but it's funny watching you get worked up over "legs". :p

Always good to see UC4 doing well.

Still waiting for that massive word of mouth shitstorm that's supposed to knock NMS out of the charts completely though :p

Hell of a lot more people have already got copies of Destiny on PS4 at this point probably. No reason to pick up this release when buying the upgrade off the store is cheaper than picking up a collection that, if it's like the Taken King physical release, is literally just the base Destiny game disc and a code for downloading the add-ons included.

Also, from the positions, sales difference is probably miniscule to boot.

Yeah, no freaking way. Source? They are way too close to each other.

Yes, is in TOP TEN, and has only sold like 3-4k and is dropped compared to last week. Again, dem legs.

That's not really a retort against the "strong legs" argument considering how far out from launch we are.

It's late September, the game came out in May and it's a little more then doubled it's initial (extremely high) launch numbers.

Call of Duty Black Ops III first week - 635,000
Call of Duty Black ops III lifetime > 2.5 million

THIS, is an example of what "impressive/strong" legs mean.

Over 4 times more than the first week, and is on the road for the x5, it's first week was also more than triple Uncharted 4, just saying.

A game doesn't need to be Splatoon for have strong legs.

Uncharted 4 so far is about double the numbers of first week sales, which is nothing of special. This holidays Uncharted will have a bundle which will help, and i will see people talking about "omg that's insane", and at that point i'll shut up cause at least will have a strong perform ( because of a bundle but still strong), but talking about something of "OMG!!!!!" for 3-4k? Guys come on. ( i don't talk about you)

Again, this is very unconvincing. If your using CoD as the bar for impressive legs, then I and most other people just won't agree with your definition of strong legs.

Stuff like GTA, Minecraft, CoD are the exceptions, not the standard by which all games should be judged. And Splatoon isn't even impressive outside of Japan, so I wouldn't use it in the UK regardless.

Is not impressive outside Japan?

USA is about x10 of what it sold at launch, same for Europe. UK is basically the only Place were legs weren't that impressive, and this basically happen for every Nintendo games.

And we can talk about Worldwide as well, and still going.

That Said, GTA/COD legs are the definition of STRONG ( Minecraft too, is way more than strong, is just phenomenal).

Uncharted are great, not bad, not insane, just normal. And i Said this Like 1 billion Times but ok.

I feel like we are just debating word definitions rather then the actual quality of legs. You say great, someone says amazing. You say strong, someone says exceptional.
