It can be serious, or just something you thought was cool.

I liked it when Final Fantasy characters did this:
Cyan%20-%20Sad%20(Front).gif

and then would ponder some rhetorical question. It was suprisingly effective and simple.

Post Images if you can please.

Pulling the master sword out of the pedestal in OoT!! I doubt Twilight Princess will top that.
Anyone who has played the game or seen the video of it..knows it doesn't anyway..

NOTE:That spoiler does not spoil the Zelda game whatsoever. But still only people who played the game should read.

Not to reveal too much even as a spoiler but Ganondorf + stab at end of Zelda: TP. There was something emotionally intense about that moment

I'll name a recent one. I really, really loved the boss battle in the dessert with the geysers in Shadow of the Colossus. I don't remember which numbered boss that was, but that was thrilling.

Well since people are posting TP moments, I may as well post my favorite:

When Midna tries to take Ganon on and Hyrule Castle collapses, then Ganon shows up on his horse holding Midna's helmet in his hand, and crushes it. ****ing bad ass.

The intro to Zelda 3. When exactly did Nintendo forget how to open a game?!?!?

The first time that a defeated boss in Super Mario World spun towards the screen (Mode 7-style) freaked the shit out of me.

Seeing Mario in 3D for the first time (at Wal-Mart, I believe) was mind-blowing.

Opera scene in FF6 (3 US).

I think it actually looked worse in the PS3 demo. She looks like trailer trash now.

FF3 has the single most satisfying final dungeon in gaming history.

Really? DS version? I hate random battles that interfere with rapid story progression, but I love great dungeons and dramatic boss encounters. I've never finished a game with random battles. Do you think that there's a possibility that this would be worth my money?

Well, I will offer facts about the final dungeon in bullet form. It`s up to you to figure out if that`s your kind of game:

- 2-3 hours long
- no saving
- 11 bosses
- bat shit hard
- Past bosses are now regular enemies

Oh, man. Even now, playing through on Insane, I always shout `BIIIIIIITCH!!` when I`m chainsawing guys. It`s hard to resist.

You can save in Nocturne`s dungeons. I also don`t remember any one dungeon in Nocturne having 11 bosses.

Yeah, I can't imagine replaying a 3 hour dungeon, especially multiple times, soooo... probably not.

And the Fitzgerald thing in the other thread was a reference to a Dylan song.

WHAT TEH SHIT!!?? That sounds really annoying. What level do you gotta be to make it through that slog?

I beat the final boss at 64, but I think Error did it at 55.

It`s tense as all hell when you`re going through, but it might just be the most memorable boss fight in recent memory, just because I was staking the last 2 hours of playtime on winning the fight.

I beat FF3 at level 52

it isnt fun if you dont like challenge and 11 bosses is stretching it because you can clear Eureka save and then the do the last dungeon Sylx Tower but you still gotta fight 5 bosses without saving :)

so awesome.

Harder then Nocturne's huge dungeons?
nocturne on normal? I say yes.

That was probably the scariest and most intense section of videogaming I've ever done.

My fav moment was in Prince of Persia: Two Thrones, when you finished off the boss, that sudden bullet-time effect really made me enjoy the moment and feel the euphoria of defeating the SOB for just long enough.
I actually play Two Thrones from time to time from my last save point just to enjoy the final moment of defeating the boss.

Yea, I know. But considering I was 60 when I entered Eureka, I decided to take them all on in one shot. I was way above the level everyone was at (I had too much fun grinding on the train to work), so I thought I`d up the ante a little.

(
And don`t forget there are 4 very easy mini bosses if you want those ribbons
)

When Serinous climaxed all over Raul. That was ****ing unexpected at the time, even for an M rated game.

And Raul's reaction. :lol

So many moments, but I'll just name a few...

System Shock 2 - When you finally make your way to the fourth deck to meet the one who has been helping you all this time. The way it happened for me was just incredible.

Silent Hill 2 - When you finally reach Room 312 in the Hotel and finish watching the video - the areas following your exit of that room. Incredibly chilling, that was.

Klonoa - The ending.

So many more, but I'd have to think about it for a while...
