Game has been announced for PC, PS4 and XB1 already. Here is a trailer for the ones who dont know what this is

You've been asking and yes, we've been very coy about it... But today we are delighted to announce that Snake Pass is coming to the Nintendo Switch!

Yesss!

That's right! Very soon Nintendo fans across the world will be challenged to ‘think like a snake' by slithering, coiling and climbing across the once idyllic mountain of Haven Tor. Taking control of Noodle the Snake, accompanied by his hyperactive best buddy Doodle the Hummingbird, players will face snake-bending obstacles and perilous pitfalls in their quest to find and restore the Keystones that give Haven Tor its' mythical power!

Whether you want to slither on the go in handheld mode, coil up in tabletop mode or climb into a comfy sofa and play in TV mode, Snake Pass on the Nintendo Switch is the perfect way to play, wherever you are!

That's Sssuper!

Isn't it just? Everyone on the team is a huge fan of all things created by Nintendo and the opportunity to bring Snake Pass to the Nintendo Switch is a dream come true. Especially for Snake Pass creator; Seb Liese:

”I always thought Snake Pass would be great fit for a Nintendo platform but I never dreamed it would come out so close to the launch of their brand-new console!"

Ssso When?

A very good question, but one we're not ready to answer quite yet. What we can share is that we're aiming for a first quarter release in 2017 – which is already incredibly close! All hands are on deck making sure that Snake Pass is the very best it can be when it launches and we're all super excited for you to play it. Keep your eyes on http://www.snake-pass.com for more details which will be coming... Sssoon.

It'll be 1080p on the Switch and was up and running in a week.
Pretty nice. Should fit the audience quite well and it seems to be releasing soon?
Will buy on Switch

I'd not seen this before. I love Sumo's work and it looks like alot of fun. It's nice to see them working on original IP

Awesome. This game already looked great so if it plays as well on Switch as on XB1 I'll gladly get it on Switch.

100% perfect for the switch, will buy day one.
Looks like one of those amazing 3d puzzle platformers for n64 that sadly got ignored like glover or rocket on wheels.

A week? Great stuff. Shin'en said it took them under a month to get their FAST engine on Switch but then again there's only around 4 of them.

I've been following Snake Pass for a long time, will pick it up on Switch.

This looks fun, very nice aesthetic. I honestly hadn't saw much of it before this but definitely looks interesting. Despite not being a mascot platformer, it prods those pleasure spots in my brain with its visuals and music.

Hmmm looks interesting, but pretty slow. Not getting a switch, but might pick it up for something else if it reviews well.

Hadn't heard of it but looks great, will definitely pick it up on switch

The name made me wonder if they named it after the road and just checked and it seems sumo are based in sheffield so i guess it is (snake pass is the name of the road between Sheffield and manchester)

Edit - lol didnt notice someone already pointed that out

The game looks superb, but now deciding on a version may have gotten even more difficult.

I look forward to seeing how it stacks up on Switch. Could be a great platform for it.

Yes my most wanted indiegame next to yooka laylee and now they're both for Switch! Nice! Have my eye on this for some time.

Both games I mentioned make me think of the n64 days
