I did look at his website http://music.headlessbarbie.com/ (or whatever one of his)

He's been making quite more music and seem to use many things. I'm listening to his mini album "I wanna be in fromage" that he made in Inpulse Tracker. His stuff is pretty cool so far and this NES cartridge album is downright awesome!!
