Many of the gamers I talk to have never played the original Xbox title Escape from Butcher Bay that anchors this value-packed release. With Dark Athena releasing on all high-powered consoles, there is absolutely no excuse not to play this incredible game.

This may very well be the greatest game I've played this generation.

Nearly every aspect of this game is so high in quality that I am very skeptical any other game released this year will be able to approach it.

Starbreeze has crafted such an excellent game here!

The only game I think can compare is the original Escape from Butcher Bay and it's already included in the package!

Save your pennies because once you play this you'll never want to leave the house.

Any comparisons between the PS3 and 360 versions? I need to know if the PS3 version is totally gimped or not, because I'd prefer to get it for that.

Seems that the 360 version has some small graphical glitches that aren't present in the PS3 version. The color can be matched to the 360 as well, as shown towards the end (the PS3 default looks very washed out).

I thought it was a really nice action flick. I've only seen the DVD Director's Cut (loved it), though. Whenever I see parts of it on TV, it seems to be missing a lot of important scenes, so maybe that was the theatrical release?

360 versions framerate isn't all that smooth in the demo. not sure about the ps3 version but im going with pc to be safe.

i also hate the washed out blue/grey look. i understand they're trying to go for the cold space feel but imo the effect works better for movies than it does games. in games it makes it harder to spot shit.

I came here to post this as indeed, it was in my PSN demo thread.
Basically made me rethink my purchasing decision and I think I will be buying the PS3 version after all...

Also, awesome as balls thread but it needs more Vin...

Like shown at the Lens of Truth link, dropping the contrast down to about 5 percent on the PS3 version, does indeed make it comparable to the 360's contrast.
