What the fuck did I just watch for 30 seconds and close??

I thought America learned it's lesson after Spice Girls.

I have 100% more interest in why Bill Murray and Regis are there.

I like it when you can see someone just awkwardly posing in the left of the shot when Letterman is announcing them.

That was dreadful on every level. Terrible pop music, awkward dancing featuring grown women with the level of skills you'd expect from youtube vids.. Wow

I assume this is popular in Asia with the pre-teens?

Quick search on the internet reveals that this is a korean pop girl group.

So its like the Spice Girls, but even more produced and sugar coated. No thanks.

...I was more interested in Regis and Bill.

I do appreciate the contrast between audiences. Many Asians go absolute apeshit at their performances, but the audience here doesn't really seem too enthused.

It's actually refreshing to see a group of girls in a band who are obviously extremely talents, and not just tits and nice faces.

I tapped to the beat of the boys.

Now I see why they didn't appear as much on J-TV as before.

And the Letterman-performance sucked. When they got big in Japan EVERY SINGLE newsclip noted "LEGSLEGSLEGS". On Letterman? Nothing at all... And the song has no beat whatsoever.
Different arrangement.

Reaction on music boards are beyond amazing, I guess most gamers can keep listening to their heavy-metal. To each its own.

I watched the performance predominantly from the waist down and found it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Great legs, good taste in footwear, 8.3/10.

Ha, not bad. It was kind of awkwardly filmed - it's like they didn't quite know how to get it all on camera until a little after the midpoint of the song. And the stage was a little small for a group of that size. I don't think the show's directors knew quite what to do with them. But they made a good showing.

Except for those blonde wigs, yikes!

The only person who is happy about that performance is Lana Del Ray.

That shit was terrible. They didn't have a lot of room to work with but fuck. And if it weren't for that Nicki Minaj abortion that came out a few days ago, this would have easily been the worst song I've heard in a long time. Please, god, do not become popular hear if that's the kind of garbage they produce. That song was like something from Kesha, but worse somehow.

Holy shit that is fucking awful.

Bill Murray looked absolutely terrified when Letterman was introducing them.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED me some Gee, so much so as to make the most popular metal version of it on youtube, but SNSD clearly went in a different (awful) direction after that and ruined everything that was cool about them.

Still find it funny that I grew up within 20 minutes of two of them in California during the same time period. Jessica is still the best!

The Boys is not their best song and even fans can agree to that.

Genie, Gee, The Great Escape, Into The New World, Girls Generation, You-Aholic, Trick, Telepathy and so many others are much better than The Boys.

That was terrible and embarrassing. You'll have to forgive me, but I guess I'm the Korean equivalent of a baka gaijin.
People have different taste in music, news at 11.

You don't have to be sorry.

But having a nice YouTube-video doesn't sell CDs.

Have them appear with the Genie-song and like in the Genie-video above - BOOM you are now known as the "those Korean girls with DEM LEGS"-group. Once you have that foot in the door you can do other stuff. Worked in Japan, why not in the US too?
