Xbox 360 (The exclusive GTA IV seaeled the deal on me and 360 for the rest of this gen).

PC version day one as well when that happens. And if they announce that they are launching on next gen consoles, I will also go for that.

The GTA games never have cutscenes, mainly due to customization. Everything is rendered in-engine. The TV-shows and movies and stuff like that may be higher quality on the PS3-version, but I doubt it. The PS3-version is 'only' 18 GB big. Both will be practically identical.

Pause the official gameplay video where the jet is going over dam


Now,
Find "Land Act Dam" on the official map and compare

It's massive! Almost too much! love it.

Great OT, but am I the only one who is having trouble reading the white on black text? It almost looks like those are scans from the manual or something.

So excited for this game, the TV trailers are really hyping me up.

I thought Vice City had cutscenes, but I could be wrong.

I think GTA has always used in-engine cut scenes.

I don't think so, since you could customize Tommy's outfits, so (I'm talking about) pre-rendered cutscenes wouldn't be an option if Tommy would be in it.

It's been way too long since I've played Vice City though. Last week.

You know as awesome as the map looks, I'm still annoyed there's no San Fiero Golden gate bridge or Las Venturas style casinos.

Tell her the online side is a huge part of the game and it might be dead around christmas, even though it won't ;)

Small? Look at the size of the tiny reservoir - that's massive in the trailers. This world is huge.

Edit: I thought the city part of the map is about the size of Liberty City? I've been replaying GTAIV recently and forgot how massive the city was, this map is going to be huuuuuge

That map comparison does seem a little bit off, unless Liberty City is much denser and crammed together than Los Santos.
