So they already bailed out of the WiiU exclusivity?
That's for 2015 so the third game could still be announced for this year.

I'm sure Nintendo would be the ones to announce it if its still in production.
The third game was never said to be a Sonic platformer, and was actually heavily hinted at being a Mario Kart/All Stars cross over of sorts.

Current gen Sanic will at least look good.

I sort of had a feeling for a long time that the 3rd game got cancelled... it may be still a thing, who knows? But I'm sort of doubting it.
Whatever it is, I hope this 2015 title doesn't disappoint like Lost World did. I heard most of the Generations team wasn't even involved with LW?

I wonder if that means Nintendo still has that third exclusive coming. And 2015? wow, that's a lot later than I thought. I wonder if it will retain Lost World's gameplay or go back to generations. Or something different?

It was pretty obviouse after lost world bombed so hard both critically and (I assume) sales wise that the last of the three games is going to be a rushed, low budget title. Or at least sonic team won't be working very hard on it.
The next big sonic game (unleashed/colors/generations level) is going to be multiplatform.
I do wish they would completely drop the wii u alltogether though, sonic games are getting to the point where they are almost graphically perfect to an extent. And I think the xb1 and ps4 could get there but might be held back by the wii u

Sonic games sell better on Nintendo systems.

After spending a ton of hours playing SART on Vita, it had me thinking it would be cool to see a decent Sonic game on Vita.

I like the way you think. So long as it's more like the first Sonic Adventure and not the second, I'll take a copy on the PS4.

Generations was a good Sonic game though
That game came out on 2006.
Sonic Adventure 3 came and left. It brought us such things like Silver The Hedgehog, and Loading The Screen.

I don't know which is worse, calling it Sonic the Hedgehog, or calling it Sonic Adventure 3
