The beginning of that trailer is cringe as hell. Should have just been total gameplay footage without the atrocious narrating.

the second part gives me halo reach condemned map vibes.

im so sadmad that I'm going to be getting slammed with work on the 11th and 12th. won't be playing this shit until, like, thursday.

edit: gatdamn the very end of the trailer gave me chills. that was a really slick way to bring in the logo.

I thought they said this was a hard game to market? Lol. Looks like they got over that issue pretty well. Great trailer. Think they did a great job trying to integrate some of the campaign storyline into it

Interesting that you pretend to know what no one knows.

It's been all over the net.

Titanfall's campaign reportedly features nine different matches — five rounds of Attrition (team deathmatch), and four of Hardpoint — and they're playable from both sides, Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation and Militia.

Also why do you think there is so little information on the game? Do you think EA and Respawn are being quiet about the on disc content because a) it's lacking or b) because it's so wonderful it's not worth talking about.

You mean the 2x5 multiplayer matches stitched together with cutscenes? i'd hardly call that a campaign.

I...what? Did I miss an announcement for the details on campaign-multi?

I didn't care about a SP campaign until watching that.
My first thought was how campaign-ish that trailer was. Curious choice that might bite em in the ass with some low information customers.

Great trailer though, and renews my faith in the ole Infinity Ward hands (with new blood as Respawn).

I just think that if they had the voiceover of "Prepare for Titanfall" at the end there it would have pushed the trailer completely over the top.

Remember this is EA publishing this game.
Yeah, leaving that EA logo out would have probably helped things ;P

The amount people stick up for this game, considering how little we know is amazing. Remember this is EA publishing this game.

I just find it fascinating that when I mention the campaign could be lacking i'm told, well that's only what was mined, yet people are using this same mined information to get really hype on maps + everything else. Who do you know all the mined content will be on the disc? It could be DLC for all we know. We know nothing and generally that means something fishy is going on.

The amount of people who don't understand that we have played the game and that we like it and want to play more of it is amazing.

There's also the prologue and epilogue events which give you story, and Respawn has also said there are things that happen during a match as well, which aren't in regular MP. We won't know what that entails until launch though.

I really don't know why you think there is so little information on the game. There's been an alpha, a beta, multiple trailers with tons of info for people to glean from. Sure, we don't know a lot of specifics, but that's no different than most game launches. Are you really expecting Respawn to tell you everything about the game a week before launch? If you're concerned and on the fence about buying it, just wait a week and you'll be able to find everything you want to know.

That's not SP. It's misleading. If they're so confident in mp only why this need to deceive?

I never said it was SP... It's called Campaign Multiplayer for a reason. If you really want, you can play it solo as well though. In no way, shape or form have Respawn ever claimed that there was some linear single player storyline like you would expect to find in CoD. This is something different.

I love you conspiracy theorists feeling like Respawn is trying to deceive people.

I hope you're not being serious.

The fact that there are probably objectives and a story interwoven into those "matches" completely eludes you?

There's most likely campaign mode dialogue and encounters on the map that aren't in normal multiplayer matches.

Take the bay/beach map. The campaign could consist of a landing in an attempt to capture something at that location. One side tries to push back the beachfront invasion and protect civilians while the other tries to push forward into the bay area to take over the Hydro Control Bay.

The success of either side could tie into alternate outcomes in the campaign. Try to think outside the box ;). People are excited, and you seem to think a pessimistic approach is the best way to see it.

Footage Representative of Xbox One Gameplay. Hmm.

If it looks near that for the Bone it'll end up being a pretty damn nice looking game.
