Perhaps Druckmann and Straley will control a team each? Hennig would be below them in pecking order but that's some big talent to lose

Those two need to work together, Druckmann is mostly on the story side and the other is for fitting story within gameplay.
Considering how good TLOU was this could be a good move by ND as frankly the gameplay, visuals and set pieces were excellent; the story has some cliché in it and could use some Druckmann.

Uncharted might just be my favorite franchise ever. It was the writing and witty banter that I enjoyed more than anything. Hopefully the script for 4 is completed at least. Her departure will be a big blow to future titles. (If there are any that is.)

How do we know it will be a blow? Uncharted 3 was arguably weaker the 2. Neil and company can possibly help the Uncharted franchise as awhole.

They rolled a hard six on TLoU ending and it laid off being NDs best game critically and sales wise yet. Amy was no slouch, but who knows what was going on in the back office.

Maybe Uncharted wasn't heading in the right direction. After all theres a new charocterization and story barometer and it isn't Uncharted.

Druckmann was the Lead Designer of Uncharted 2 and the Creative Director and Lead Writer for The Last of Us.

Straley was the Game Director for Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us.

Well that says a lot, it would seem they would be more valuable assets ......... Uncharted 2 and TLOU are the best things Naughty Dog have ever done.

Yup, I agree. I personally hope we don't see a TLoU-like gritty, swearing-filled script. I like the kind of fun, Indiana Jones, PG-13 type of writing for these kinds of games. Hennig did an amazing job with them.

Sales yes, critically, I believe it was about the same if not lower than Uncharted 2. Which Hennig wrote I believe.
