I think the beta had a major effect on the expectation on the game, which create the apparent lack of major hype.
At least I know I'm in a rather calm mood, although it's my most expected game since a long time. I just know what I'll get, I know I'll like it, and now we just wait to get back into our titans.

Honestly if it wasn't for gaf I wouldn't know this game was being released already. Not being on steam and not being reminded of it every day when I boot up steam has really killed any hype I have had for this game.

I really love how the TB set in no way matches the official TF Xbox One controller lol... like the one thing you'd want it to match.

My Origin game list says preloading begins in... 3 minutes.
Depends on where you live - you can see the times if you hover over the TF icon in origin.
If you want to preload in 2 minutes then get a korean VPN ;-)

So, i had some cash on me. Went and bought an origin game card.
But it won't let me use the balance on the preorder.
I hit apply balance it says ok, then it adds the tax, and says i don't have enough money. So then i go to select a credit card, which takes away the wallet balance.
WTF. Can i seriously not use my wallet balance AND a card?
I went to try and preorder the deluxe edition instead. And it didn't even give me the option to apply my wallet balance.

It was more that the key wouldn't redeem in the client, but I got it to work by going through the Origin site.

I'm buying an Xbox One on Tuesday and will be picking up this game. The only dilemma I have is that I'm not sure if I want to get the TitanFall bundle or not. On one hand you get a free copy of TitanFall, on the other it is digital and I prefer to have a hard copy. I'm thinking perhaps I buy the TitanFall bundle and sell the digital code for like $40 to someone and buy the physical copy.
Either way I'm finally jumping in guys
There isn't any point of not getting the bundle since you get a month of gold along with the digital copy of the game. Non game bundle and the titan fall bundle is $499. So that's a no brainer.
However, may be you can choose between the Titan fall bundle or the Forza 5 bundle. Though i don't think the Forza bundle will be out in time for Titan fall launch.

Though this game, doesn't seem to benefit at all from SSD's.
It's downloading and extracting/installing at the same time. So it takes into account how fast it's extracting/installing as well.

That's probably because the fully installed game is about 4 times larger (I guess) than what you actually have to download.
Origin calculates download speed based on the size of the installed game and the percentage of data you download each second.
So if you have to download 15gb, and the installed game is 50gb, downloading 1MB/s means that you download 0.006666% per second. Origin thinks that you're downloading 0.006666% per second of that 50gb instead of the actual download size. So in this example it would show you 3.333MB/s.
Scratch that. That's what I thought, but it's actually unpacking the game at the same time and adding up both download and unpack speeds. Download speed does drop towards normal, if there is nothing to unpack at any given moment.
It's not downloading 50 gig but more like 20. The speed you see includes unpacking so it's complete rubbish...

This is one thing I both like and dislike about Origin, I like that it downloads and fully installs your game for you (something I wish Steam would do), but I dislike that it incorrectly determines your download speed based on the completed size and not the actual download size.

I've restarted Origin five times and still nothing. Maybe it's because I ordered from the Mexican store?

Where are you based?, remember this is the NA pre-load which is a few days earlier than most places, in order to get it going today if your not in NA, you need to use a VPN to make it think your in NA.
If your in NA, then weird indeed.
