Sessler giving Titanfall a 5/5 despite the game having basic features missing makes his inFamous review that much more of a joke.
Not sure what Titanfall has to do with this review.

Some people who didn't like Titanfall or considered it a poor value were unhappy about it getting good scores.
So it succeeds as a incredible super hero game but a mediocre open world game.
Sounds good to me
Theres an unparalleled sense of empowerment in inFAMOUS: Second Son that makes it a release to be reckoned with. Bursting with more attitude than a high school hardcore band, this out-of-control excursion effortlessly nails the sensation of possessing superpowers. It may put its plot forward a little too forcefully at first, but persevere and youll be richly rewarded with an appetising roster of outlandish abilities. While it does little to push the open world format forward, this is still a series thats very much in bloom.
Damn, its looking like the next killzone shadow fall...
Gies didn't review TLoU. Philip Kollar did. He also reviewed this game.
This I like. 19 new missions for free?! Thanks Sucker Punh!

sessler doesnt quite get the combat well imo. He complains about have to dash in and out of combat ... well thats essentialy how the game is supposed to be played. the devs even mentioned ths that dash adds this whole new dynamic ... Other points he makes I can put down to opinion and thats cool to each his own
That's how I felt about the previous IF games, and I had a great time with them. I never really expected a big busy open world a la GTAV, so I'm OK with that.
Wow. That's huge. Why in the world wouldn't you have this ready for review copies? Seems like one of the main qualms is the lack of side missions...
Pretty fucking huge patch. I wonder if having these would have helped review scores.
Maybe he liked TF more overall? Reviews are, you know, opinions.
Thread worthy?
lol
damn
apparently that's just the first section though...but still

well, based on the reviews it is the worst game in the series
what
Gameinformer: 8.5
agreed. GTA was impressive, but it wasn't that fun.
It's why I always say...who cares about reviews?!
It's not my style game, but if you enjoy the series or want it.....buy it. Have a blast...who cares what the reviews say.
Adam Sessler's review does not surprise me lol.
