I don't have a 3DS, so I can't play Uprising, but I just read a synopsis. It seems the most important characters are Pit, Dark Pit, Hades and Palutena. Dark Pit could just be an alternate costume for Pit, right? The other two would be fine playable character additions.

Yea, that one guy with the giant sword who appears in 1 or 2 chapters is less boring than the main villain of KI and one of the main villains in KI:U. Definitely.
Dark Pit was already a skin for Pit in Brawl lol. Though the hair wasn't changed in Brawl I think.

I would call Krystal a garbage character, but that would be insulting to garbage.
He could swing a sword and stuff! What could Medusa do? Summon enemies, fire lasers from her eyes, and turn you to stone? Oh, right...

You mean the strongest human who is actually playable in one chapter with the best weapon is KIU multiplayer.

Well March is almost over so we should get a direct in April. Also bringing us closer to Mario Kart 8 in May.

- Medusa got fucking robbed. Everyone else in the KI universe post Uprising gets god tier personalities and characterizations and she gets squat outside of mandatory "I am the big evil" lines.
- Sweet baby Jesus I hope Smash4's net code is amazing. Playing Project M wifi with bahamut a few minutes ago really makes me sad that Smash is the series with a bad online precedent.

to answer your proposition of
1 ) no one represents the decline of anything stop putting contrived labels you have come up with on things and then expecting those labels to hold up to for everyone else.
2) Yes, but satan was in that game and you know satan gets top dollar .

It's more so that people hate her fan base.
I'm more surprised they said no to more fighters. If the rumor is true that Sakurai doesn't want to cut older characters that means IF Krystal is added it won't cost some vet to be cut.

Regarding Isaac I know his chances aren't high, while Golden Sun is one of my favorite franchises I myself haven't played Dark Dawn because of the reception it got and the opinions around here (afraid to taint my memories / love for the games). And there is no know golden sun game coming to either console.
I would be very happy with his inclusion in PM though, but we would have to see how faithfully they can recreate him, since they are limited by what they can do and I doubt psynergy attacks are easy at all to implement... I still would main the fuck out of him though!
Still heartbroken by his inclusion as an AT in brawl, so I half-know what walugi fans feel

I just watched that Smash Brothers documentary on Youtube about the competitive Melee scene and now I'm super hyped for this game. Hope we get a direct soon.
Also, so much this. I would take almost anybody over Krystal. She's easily my least favorite Nintendo character. We already have Lucario, that's enough dumb characters for me.
edit: also on topic, I really dislike this idea of trainers fighting instead of pokemon. There's so many great pokemon to choose from, why would anybody want some generic trainer? Especially when fighting is something they never do in the game.
It's suggestions like these two that make me glad Sakurai doesn't rely too much on his fans. When fan service is promised people just get absurd.
