IGN: SRPG Natural Doctrine Coming West For PS3, PS4, PSVita - Fall 2014 - Cross Save

Turn by turn (look out for those icons on top of the screen) . Allies highlighted in blue, enemies in red. Both sides are able to gang up on targets if conditions are fulfilled, while those supporting in the back can trigger and use magic/range/healing/support skills.

Awesome

I love that so much better

I always hated the tedium associated with Phase gameplay in SRPG

Yikes, those red and blue spell effects on the swords look pretty rough. The game certainly won't win any beauty contests.

Gameplay looks fun though.

Personally this great to me. Really hoping it turns out to be enjoyable. I'm digging that artstyle. The zombie dragon thing was really cool looking.

Not surprised.

A bit worried that its score in Famitsu isn't that great, hopefully, it can be decent.

Jesus people here still think Famitsu scores mean anything? Seriously folks...

I went and picked up the Omochidashi pack also. Should be nice to have and can play on the Vita when I dont feel like booting up the PS4. The price isnt too bad also considering. To the guy above me yeah the MSRP is 7,980 so your estimate is right. On amazon japan its 7,014 JPY.

It means something. Means the publisher couldnt write a check to Famitsu.

As a SRPG fan, I have to keep an eye on the title and buy it at some point if it is at least average. It just comes down to price and quality, as usual.

I wonder if NIS America will make a special premium version containing PS4/PSV or PS3/PSV version (or maybe an all three version)? Who knows, but I'm definitely interested. Will go PS4 of course.

LoL those Famitsu scores either the game is misunderstood like Demon's Soul's or it's complete shit. From what I've seen I personally think it's the latter.

This will be the first game I get for PS4 with the intent of doing a lot of Remote Play with.

You should just go import the double pack physical PS4 + digital Vita. Problem solved. Considering its not all that more expensive not a bad deal honestly.

That tweet was made after my post. And PlayStation Blog often posts on NISA and other third party stuff when they are announced for localization, like when NISA detailed their 2014 line-up earlier this year.

But yes, looks to be real.

i was just posting it for you and the sake of this thread that it was not a weird april fools joke. also i didn't know anything about sony being super into small publishers like that.

Yeah I see. It's just that NISA usually announces things on their own and not through a website exclusive so I was a little (too) suspicious, haha. They sent a confirmation email too.

NISA is really lucky that they can localize any JRPG game, and still make money from it.
Their fans just buy random niche products just because it is published by NISA.

Anyway...when was the last SRPG on a console? Fricken VC?
So yeah, I will buy this game on the PS4* this fall.

*when PS4 has resume/suspense play, if not, will get it on Vita.

B-but ew digital ain't nobody got the memory card space for that! It's why I haven't bought FFX|X-2 HD Remaster for Vita because of digital only X-2!

Pony up and get a 64 GB card. Have 3 here well worth it. 1 is full, the other is about 85% and the last one is more for Vita only stuff.

Anyone think they should of gone with cell-shading instead? Like Valkyria Chronicles as an example?

Nope
