Except Black Ops 2 built a villain with a motive and background that you can somewhat emphasize with, this just seems to be a generic action movie villain.

If you pause during the in game footage, or what it seems to be a first person view. The graphics aren't all that amazing. They're definitely a step up but it's the same old engine.
Yeah, they showed very good face models before and I thought they are using Nvidia FaceWorks technology but Kevin Spacey face didn't look so good here.
The setting and stuff going looked very good tho.

MGS4, a game about PMCs, made a little CoD reference in an Act 3 cutscene which pointed out how a lot of the PMC soldiers in that game grew up playing first-person shooters adding context to their life choices. CoD has not only further solidified that prophecy with annual iterations, but it has now culminated in a self-aware CoD game about PMCs

It looks good but when talking about this game set in the future I was kinda hoping it would be the future even further along then this with laser guns and space stuff.

This game's very existence has to be to get Kevin Spacey into a mech as he shouts insults in your general direction and you shoot in his. Automatic 0/10 if Spacey doesn't suit up. I'm talking full-on Stephen Lang in Avatar mode, complete with the giant combat knife.
One of the fascinating new additions to your squad is Kevin Spacey. We've had famous actors in Call of Duty before, but never like this. This is someone you care about - this is a squad member. He does everything from sniffing out explosives to protecting the team.
In what way was it good? Correct grammar?
I think there was a rumor that High Moon was porting it down.

But he's right on everything else regarding this game.
He said it wasn't Treyach, it was on a 3 year dev cycle, it's set in a future setting, and that it won't be a ripoff, but will have significant Titanfall influence. ( and claims Treyach COD will practically be TF)
Besides, considering the rumours of this game being shown at Playstation Destination ended up being true, there was some merit to that rumour.
We'll find out more information soon, but it might be because they are still using the same engine or maybe it's because of cross-gen limitations. It's disappointing.

Wow. I have not been this impressed by a Call of Duty trailer in SO long. The visuals look FANTASTIC. Day ONE.

I didn't see any CGI at all. That was all in engine. Also to be fair that was like 2-5 seconds of gameplay lol.

i have a feeling this game may be close to Titanfall... but replace the titans with tanks, choppers, etc...
if there's wall running it will only confirm my thoughts... like.. the exo skeleton suits is like a dead giveaway for the possibility of it.
could be setup as a perk.

Definitly was on a higher level in my opinion, even hits future soldier levels with what I think was the use of global illumination. Easily the best lighting Ive seen and I play mainly PC.

Sound grammar helps. His monologue closely parallels some arguments you hear in American foreign policy dialogue. With Spacey's delivery, it sounded surprisingly cogent. It establishes not only Spacey's motivations, but the scope of the game. Note that I have no idea where the plot of Call of Duty has gone since MW1 and MW2. So if you just imagine there has been no CoD for me since 2009, this looks alright.
