i am so sure in 2010 (or 2009 or 2012 or 2011), the xbox guy who left; don said they were tied into it for 4 more years. so why are people thinking it will change? maybe to media outlets and review copy or even pax, ps4 will be used but not for marketing

I don't see why this game won't get ported down... Activision isn't going to say no that install base and all that money and there's nothing in that trailer that wouldn't be capable on PS3/360. Sledgehammer probably won't be the ones doing that though, Treyarch did the port of Ghosts last year, so I guess they'll do it again.
There deal runs till 2015 for map packs so I'm guessing marketing was in with that deal.

Where are people getting these ideas from? Treyarch is the veteran COD team. There's no way they're being reduced to down ports.

Nah, they'll be fine. It doesn't have to be 1080p to look very good graphically. I'd just like a solid AA solution, so my eyes aren't slashed.
Treyarch handled the WiiU Ghost port IIRC

Nothing wrong with that. The only thing is, until we see how it plays and what new features/mechanics they've added, the only thing that is exciting is the potential for something different.

.... wow, so it really IS Call of Duty: House of Cards.
They've done ports for a lot of non-Treyarch versions of COD alongside doing a COD game themselves.
They aren't being reduced to ports, but merely continuing in doing what they've been doing....

I don't know about that, but WAW really was underrated. Great maps and the Tanks were cool.

Seriously. It was a really good trailer though. And it doesn't look like garbage visually. I'm really interested in this game, and it'd be my first time playing a game in the series.

sounds like more people are impressed by the graphics? blops2 was fun but was already looking pretty dated before it was even out.
Personally, its a far enough jump into the future to actually have a sizeable impact on game mechanics where as that really wasn't the case with Black Ops 2.
Those exosuits look damn awesome if they give us control and free up gameplay a bit.

Yoooooooooooo, this looks good. It looks polish as hell. Can't wait to rock this. And the SP got me hype, fuck. Good going Activision and SH. There day one on both consoles. X1 and PS4. And PC later...
If multiplayer turns into CoD speed plus Halo survivability with these exoskeletons, then I may be diving back into CoD multiplayer. Also, the movement potential seems crazy. Not Titanfall crazy, but much more vertical than previous CoDs. All that assuming the exo suits play a big roll in multiplayer.
I could've sworn he said lead development platform was switched over to PS4. (which if it was true, has no effect on marketing)

This trailer actually got me hyped for CoD. I haven't felt like this since MW2.

Interested to see how all this new tech will apply to multiplayer. I have zero interest in CoD single player but I skipped Ghosts and played very little of BLOPS2 so I'm sort of due to scratch that CoD MP itch.
