After seeing all the pc screenshots i believe all this time (until 3 months ago) Ubisoft showed us the game running on PC with like 4x GTX Titans

The game is already on Pirate sites? Goddamn Ubisoft your DRM doesn't even work.

And anyone in this thread posting PC impressions pirated it...?

This about sums up this thread. So much nitpicking, it's almost unreal.

Where is the nitpicking? This is fundamental stuff about the world. If you're happy with playdough damage and stupid things like this, great. Seeing half of this stuff is just making me want to play Sleeping Dogs again though.

Ubisoft has no shame. Aren't there some legal grounds to get them in trouble for LYING to their costumers? The sole face of the playable character is like 2 gens behind they've shown.

I think that looks pretty great....

*slow shrug* I'm not going to ever really get this I think. I'm thinking back, but I don't really remember having been part of an OT thread for this kind of release before. Are we gonna be mainly talking about the graphics?

I mean, I have a nice rig and I'm interested in squeezing as much pretty as I can out of this thing (will likely play around at least with SweetFX and such)... but ultimately I'm not interested in this game as a graphical showcase... like at all.

It's like, on the one hand I can't wrap my mind around thinking it looks bad... and on the other I can't muster much ire about the fact that it doesn't look better...

If we're meant to be discussing technical stuff, at this point I'm way more interested in its performance and would be more interested in hearing how it runs on anyone who can post their specs...

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
There was this comparison made a few days ago,

Shitty comparison though.

Used to live and work a few blocks from that intersection. Mind was blown witnessing that as a setting in the reveal trailer. Now?...still close I guess, but not as impressive.

I was ready to give the game shit, but the couple hours I spent with the PS4 version last night impressed me. It's a bit sterile looking at times and there are plenty of nit-picky omissions, but there's still quite a lot of little details and I didn't see it drop a single frame.

The AI drivers are totally hilarious. They'll just patiently stay put forever if there's a wreck at an intersection.

When the time of day changes and the sun comes from that direction, it actually looks pretty close to that.

I said before i was gonna wait on a sale but my friends all skipping out on this on ps4 and the recent PC screens and video have push me to get it on PC, I think my rig can handle it, i7 2600k OC @ 4.2 I believe lol, GTX 770 4gb, 8 gigs of ram and windows 7, hopefully I can run this at least at high o_O

How is this nitpicking? Basic (probably the most basic!) car destruction and a major oversight in the lighting engine (or a bug).

What is more significant about that entire slice of gameplay, is aidan's action and the npc reaction. The fact the bald NPC was minding his own buisness, and when Aidan got close started to hassle him, then immediately reacted and started taking pictures when the crash happened. When the car blew up almost everyone ran away into different directions, one woman even quickly getting out her car and then running away. That's what I was paying attention to, not the headlights.

Did you take a look at the options ? Can you remove certain aspects of the HUD like AC4?

Are there places selling it for sub-$60? Is it viable to get it yuplay.ru? It seems like they restrict sale in the US now, otherwise it'd be ~$25 on that website (799 руб). Does a proxy work to get around the region restriction?

Nvidia codes on eBay for $35

Well once the game is actually released people are going to discuss game-play more if that's what you mean, people have been posting how it runs at their rigs as well. But there as well it will pick up when more people actually have access to the game. Until then people will discuss what is available to them I would think, ergo video/screens.

Personally I am on the fence about this game, I think it looks quite fine but the game play... All the context buttons and highlighting in the videos are turning me off a bit. WIll not buy day 1 but later on I may jump on.

I'd even go so far as to say that we should have them banned from the video game business, just so this shit doesn't happen again. Think of all the poor video game consumers LIED to. And it's more like 3 gens behind what we've been shown, honestly.

Have some fucking perspective, people.

Seem people have played in here? My questions:

-How much detail is the world? (density, population, npc idiosyncrasies)
-Is the gameplay more varied/satisfying than Assassin's creed?
-Invasion impressions?
