I do think there's merit in discussing what people find sexy, why, and how it interfaces with their overall game experience. As an example, I have female friends who like the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games and cite a major reason being that they think some of the male characters are very sexy. There's potentially useful information there about non-typical gaming demographics and designing for broader appeal.

I'm not sure how useful, "Just post sexy pics" is as an approach, though. This is a discussion board, not a tumblr, you know?

Well I was more hoping for a thread along the lines of how sexuality should and should not be artistically portrayed in the medium.

Seeing varying people give their opinions on it would have made for a pretty good thread. Not just posting pics but also going into detail on why it works and why other things do not.

Surprised at the crazy reaction to OP. So far as I can tell, there's nothing in the TOS preventing a thread like this. Pics of a sexual nature are discouraged (note, merely discouraged) but you don't have to post sexual pics to show or talk about a sexy character. Obviously, any kind of nudity is forbidden, but again that's not at all necessary here. Mods already banned that one outrageous moron and the thread is still here, so...
