Ok, I'm totally on board with Kiefer now.

He's going to pull of Snake's decent perfectly with his voice. It's normal, it's not exaggerated yet it still has a large amount of weight to it.

No way Hayter could pull it off, not with his nearly broken voice. Just try to hear him attempting to pull off those lines.

Music choice is all over the place, first Garbage, now that NUUUUKLEAAAA guy. PFFF. Harry-Gregson Williams scores were times better. I don't know which feels this is supposed to invoke.

I just think he wants to get away from the Hollywood feel for once, and I can respect that considering the shift in tone for this game.

yeah, this. there's some really... metal geary lines in there (by which i mean quite theatrical and kinda hammy) but sutherland really delivered them rather well.

Since Kojima's english isn't the best it's pretty fascinating to see his music choices in trailers. The lyrics in this song goes perfect with the trailer.

could be relevant. Also MSF and Diamond dogs are the same. Venom I think was just metaphor of snake being poisonous. XOF is still a mystery at this point. .

That's why it is an overkill together. It's considered to be a mauve-ton among video-producers to perfectly match whatever lyrical content there is with the video on screen. It's really on the same level of subtlety as David Cage.

What the heck? There seems to have been some sort of audio cancelling done to the voices, I can hear the distortion happening whenever the characters appear to talk.

Edit: Nevermind, it's happening on my end for other videos too.

I disagree, imo it's quite clear that it's a cross-gen title. The poly count alone makes it pretty obvious, as characters still look blocky when compared to next-gen only games.
