The Legend of Zelda Wii-U Shown at Nintendo Digital Event ["2015"]

ElTorro

I wanted to dominate the living room. Then I took an ESRAM in the knee.
Looks great! Is Link a girl in this one? I hope they made him a girl. That'd be great.

That was my first thought, too. Looked very feminine, especially from behind.

The game looks freakin' awesome. Why didn't they show us more. x_x

And why would I want them?

Don't get me wrong the new look is cool and probably will be the best zelda ever but I wanted something more like that u__u

Zelda NEVER ends up looking like it's tech demo.

And it looks awesome, like Zelda crossed with Xenoblade or something.

Can see a lot of inspiration from ALBW in this so far. It sounds like the Zelda game people have been asking for, but it doesn't look as gritty as the demo sooooo let's complain about that instead.

VERY HYPE.

Link can be a feminine-looking dude. Look at his Hyrule Warriors incarnation.

Anyway no boobs, and I don't see them making Link a girl anyway.

Looks amazing!
I can't help but be disappointed at the lack of a trailer though... It's been in the works for a while now.

Edit: never mind, looks like I missed it haha

I was really impressed about what he said about the open world concept. They really seem to get what it's all about, unlike most other AAA developers.

Soo they are never going to make this?

Yeah because we'd all rather have Twilight Princess 2 rather than the open world Zelda set in the fucking future that we were shown today.

It all comes down to how it plays, and we won't know for a long time.

I wonder what the Wii U gamepad "gimmick" will be?

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much

I don't think this game is set in the future. There are just a few more hi-tech gadgets and enemies, that stuff was in Skyward Sword already.

I think that Link is female in this one, and he/she probably doesn't have a sword yet either because it's the beginning of the game or this is just meant to show of the visuals, not a part of the actual game.

So, I think this is a Zelda set in the future. It's the only avenue that the series hasn't explored yet, and this trailer has a fucking robot shooting lasers and a mechanical laser bow.

anyone agree?

Love GAF's hype. It's stupid, but fun. They showed a very short cinematic trailer and mentioned that it was open world and it's blowing everyone's mind.

I'll wait for gameplay, but the way their talking does get me optimistic.

No offense but you are all accepting this will be the game that releases.

You would have all said the same at the first footage (of the completely different visual style) Zelda shown at the previous E3.

May as well be labelled with the rest of E3's 'concepts' really.

Looks like an epic Miyazaki movie

My God I cannot wait

What excited me most was that Aunoma was like "The puzzle starts as soon as you decide to go somewhere". So I'm expecting the entire overworld to be a giant puzzle, kind of like how the "Pre-dungeon" overworld areas were like in Skyward Sword.

Those visuals. Oh my God gimme now
