The Legend of Zelda Wii-U Shown at Nintendo Digital Event ["2015"]

Absolutely beautiful! I'm in love!

This was my most anticipated E3 game...I had high hopes but what I saw exceeded my expectations by far.

While I'm not liking the art design of Link, at all, everything looks pretty fucking insane f and showing off environments and graphics that are technically amazing.

Having at least 1 GB of RAM for the game ( Wii U has 2 GB total, maybe Nintendo is using part of the 1 GB they set aside for the OS ) is obviously allowing for a far larger and richer open world game that would be totally impossible to pull off on GameCube / Wii hardware with less than 50MB and 100MB of total RAM, respectively.

Looks freaking amazing. Reminds me a lot of the graphic style from Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, which is fine for me.

I got the impression Link was actually a girl in this game not only from their look but the fact they kept the face hidden until it was revealed right at the end. Could be the artstyle, but Link also looks a lot more feminine, especially in the face.

Looked bloody amazing.
The only thing about the reveal that stuck out to me was Link's new design.

Looking on it again though, I think the reason why he looks so feminine is possibly because he's younger than usual- maybe 13-15?

I'm very happy that they're emphasizing exploration. ALBW was a return to form for the series, and I would have been devastated if Zelda Wii U followed the SS model.

Art looks nice. It's maybe not my favorite style I've seen in the series, but it's plenty attractive.

I hope the cinematic flourishes in the trailer were not a sign of QTEs.

Also, kudos to Nintendo for ripping off Princess Mononoke.

EDIT: I doubt Link is female in this game, but I'd be very excited if Nintendo let the player choose.

How can people complain about this art style? Looks so good. Time to go play some Twilight Princess or something to tide me over.

Still wish they'd shown Majora's Mask.

I'm just saying we've seen a couple of E3 Zelda sequences in the past that never eventuated, so I'll wait on this and not buy into the hype just yet. Been burnt before.

It looks amazing yeah and it 'should' be what we end up playing, but they've done this before...

And I'm just saying that they've almost always delivered on how a game looked once they revealed the actual game.

Which they did here.

I have a friend who's upset with the prospect that Link might be a girl, and that it's not Link if it's not a male.

F him though, game looks great. :)

I thought he was veiled because it was going to be Zelda as the protagonist, but I love Link's new design. I love the look of the world, and that it's got that open-world Zelda feel as the original game. Now here's hoping the progress-in-any-order-and-get-lost-in-the-world feeling isn't marred by an unendingly chatty companion who tells you how to tie your shoes and gives you a little bib so you don't spill any potion on your shirt.

Underwhelming.

Also, since Link looks like a girl, they missed an opportunity to have Zelda as the main character.

I just cried a little

I cried a lot. I fell out of my chair and cried for the whole thing.

This is the game i have wanted since they first revealed ocarina of time. This is what my imagination dreamed of.

Nintendo did it, you guys. They did it. They finally did it.

Well I hate the art style, but a Link between worlds had awful art and was still a ton of fun. If I buy a Wii U for smash bros maybe I will hang onto it until 2015 and give Zelda a whirl. At least its not a cell shaded looney toon.

Not a fan of the way this was announced. Would rather a proper announcement with trailer and title.

But then I saw that footage at the end and I said gawd damn.

I will buy a Wii U for this game. In fact I will buy the Zelda bundle specifically.
