Wow, this is absolutely stunning. The environments initially look very beautiful. This looks like WW and TP had a child, but I'd personally prefer a TP and SS baby in terms of art. But this will suffice, I'm very curious about its open-world. 2015 is a long while, though. :(

However, I do have my doubts with Link's design. Like a lot of you already said, he looks remarkably more feminine. He was never Geralt of Revia of manliness, but if it wasn't for the SS hair I'd definitely say this isn't Link. Or it's actually Zelda herself, but that hair is most definitely Link's.

Super stoked for a more open Zelda. And the artstyle is real nice, it looks kinda like a cross between Wind Waker and Skyward Sword with more shadows and better lighting.

Gives me shadow of the colossus vibes. Links arrow almost looks like a key and the eye of the robot/monster is the same blue colour.

Wonder if in this game one of the objectives is to hunt down and kill monsters.

Seen some people think the game won't live up to the visuals which confuses me. Nothing about this footage doesn't look like it couldn't be done in-engine.

Zelda needs to save her kingdom herself. At this point it would be refreshing to play the game as Zelda, and this would make it so when people start calling the main character zelda they would finally be correct.

Jaw has been dropped!!! Nintendo uou are keeping me from the competition with all these amazing games. This looks incredible! The art style looks amazing!!!

YES, YES, YES. This is perfect. It looks beautiful. I really would've been bored if it had looked like the last tech demo.
I can't wait to see and hear more :)
I'll have to buy a Wii U eventually. Actually it's the only current-gen console that's interesting for me, right now, and I'm glad that Nintendo is still bringing sincere, light-hearted stuff. I realized how tired I am of all those shoot-shoot-bang-bang stuff from the other conferences yesterday (except MGSV and Uncharted 4) :/

YAWN

Ask me which Shakespeare novel is best
This kind of sentiment is absolutely ridiculous. What is wrong with anime in the first place? The game is Japanese. Grow up.

Says the guy with a little anime girl avatar.
Anime = no sale for me too.

I can understand the art style. Probably couldn't handle the realistic look with the Wii U's hardware for an open world game. They went for framerates, maybe even 60fps?

I think it looks stunning and the animation is absolutely amazing! The horse animation alone is the best I've seen in a video game, ever!

2015?
Didn't they show this before the Wii U was released?
Is Nintendo releasing anything this year besides Super Smash Bros???

I'm really SUPER excited for this, as linearity was what was really killing the franchise for me. One additional thing: Nintendo, please cool it with the bloom in Zelda titles. It hurts my eyes.

Am I the only one who finds this art style... Soulless? I don't know, to me it looked like something fan made tbh. Skyward Sword looked better than this imo.

Link WOMAN PLZ.

He doesn't ever talk anyway, but just make him a female avatar for once. Bored with the sexism of the pricness that has to be saved etc...

Looks great, and I love the artstyle, but I don't think any of that was actual gameplay. Looked like cutscenes/concept video. Pretty disappointed by the lack of gameplay for this, Uncharted, and pretty much every big game except Batman. Disappointing E3 all around.

Still, I love that it sounds like they're taking the more open world, approach dungeons in any order method they used in ALBW and expanding on it for a console Zelda. ALBW was fantastic. I'm pretty hyped for this.

I wish the character design looked more like an improved version of this:

Actually, I am. ;)

I just wasn't expecting (or hoping for) something like this. They kind of went exactly the opposite direction from what would have made me finally wanna buy a Wii U.

Why would you expect the game to look like the Wii-U tech demo?

Past history shows the actual Zelda games never look much (anything) like their tech demos. Plus, there have been plenty of... hints... to suggest that this game might see the return of a cel shaded style.

It's fine if you don't like that style, but many of us do... and it looks absolutely breathtaking.

I hope they expand on weapon upgrades, both Skyward and ALBW had it in some form :O
And if dungeons are seamlessly integrated into the overworld (Aka, no loading screens) :OO!OO!:O:O!!

I am happy they are going back to the routes of Zelda. With each new 3D game, it seemed to get more and more linear. The games have always been about exploration. Having an open-world helps this. So I cannot wait till we see actual gameplay. The teaser was a nice taste.

Great googly moogly how on earth is Nintendo doing this? Those press kit screens are 1080p which would imply it looks this gorgeous and without seeming to sacrifice a single thing. Just what the hell?

I am in complete wonder at these crisp screens.

What's wrong with that?

I don't really think he looks like a girl, but if for some reason he does I can understand why someone would be upset. Link's a guy. Instead of reestablishing his character and making him into a female character, I would much, much rather they create a new IP around a female hero.

They screwed up the Zelda reveal.
You can tell the teaser was made for a dramatic reveal with whipping the hood off, where they play the teaser without an intro and have the Link reveal.
Instead they completely exposed it.
They should have gone cold into the teaser and then had all of the blabbering after.

Not just you, but so many other people...

Man it's impossible to please some people. Wow.

Hated Link's design.
Hated futuristic setting.
Loved artstyle, even though that's not what I want for Zelda.
So I'm a bit disappointed after waiting for years...
:(

But the open world seems very very cool! But I'm not hyped for the game as I was for the others, too much wrong things imo.

The Mononoke Hime inspiration here is fierce. And in the movies, large fields and view distance are important to. I always thought Miyazaki should be the model for Zelda.

Now, looking at the hd hyriule field.. That game is ambitious and i love that but it's gonna be on the verge of what WiiU can do all the time. You can feel they are on the limit, IQ is a mess, textures seem pretty compressed.

They should almost have waited for a new hardware for that game lol. (Who knows actually.. With WiiU's shape and how late it will be released... At least i would be them i would clearly prepare the ground for an "hd" version.
