I actually have more faith in FROM Software delivering on a release estimate than 95% of the gaming industry. I say this is a May release.Pretty sure with 100% confidence that this will see some sort of delay to increase quality. Early 2015 target may be a bit too optimistic.
The game has been in works for years and it's still 8 months or so away from release. Early 2015 sounds pretty fair.Pretty sure with 100% confidence that this will see some sort of delay to increase quality. Early 2015 target may be a bit too optimistic.

Wait....There was doubt?Let this remove any doubt that this was an exclusive. There was so much denial in the Kotaku comments section

Sounds like the online portion of the game is similar to Journey's in which you will meet players along your path and decide whether to either help, harm, or ignore them. I wonder what are the benefits or harm these choices offer the player.
Thank you! - I didn't expect the world to make so much sense when I started writing that post, but you're right that it's all consistent and not one thing feels out of place.Wow, thanks for that~ Really awesome post you got there. You basically said what I SHOULD have said. The Demon in Yellow is worse than Seath (who has some similarities to him), isn't he? He put his victims through a special sort of torment...
This is why I love how Tower of Latria all connects. It's astounding. First, illusions, then the harshest of truths, then... An unveiling. You overcome illusions and realities to defeat the orchestrator of this... Misery.
Bloodborne is being made by the same team at FROM Software that brought Dark Souls 2 into the world, and the similarities are both comforting and eyebrow-raising for any fan of the series. There's one thing that should give everyone confidence in Bloodborne, though: it's under the direction of Hidetaka Miyazaki, the series' creator, who passed on direction of Dark Souls 2 in 2012 so that he could work on this with Sony. It's clearly using plenty of Dark Souls 2's animations and sound effects (at this early stage, at least), but its world is completely different.
There's quite a lot of pages already, and I'm just jumping in unaware if this is news or not, but for all of those who have been dissin' that B-team who made DS2... fret not... because THIS game is made by the exact same team-- BUT it's helmed by Miyazaki!
As one who has played DS2 as his first Souls game this makes me quite hyped. I don't know what the exact differences between Souls 1 and 2 are but it can't go wrong if you take the things that worked in DS2 and let Miyazaki's ideas that made the other two Souls' games impressive, in as well!

He seemed very emotional and proud presenting the game on stage at the conference. I know he personally loves the Souls games too, just had to make the publishing about Demon's in the West before the game came together. One thing that I find very humorous about the whole situation with Bloodborne and essentially what Shu hinted at was that immediately after the colossal mistake he made not securing the Soul series and realizing he misjudged what the gaming public would respond to he goes on the long journey to rectify it. In the process ensuring a game that has really amazing potential and one we might not have ever seen otherwise.

?Not sure if posted, but Multiplayer.it says they'll show a demo at Gamescom: http://multiplayer.it/articoli/133188-bloodborne-patto-di-sangue.html
Thanks to @FabioArapi on twitter for pointing this out. Can anyone confirm it? Google translation gives me gibberish.

That can't be accurate, because From have been working on this game since Artorias of the Abyss. The same team can't make two games at the same time. There's quite a lot of pages already, and I'm just jumping in unaware if this is news or not, but for all of those who have been dissin' that B-team who made DS2... fret not... because THIS game is made by the exact same team-- BUT it's helmed by Miyazaki!

... Hmm. Is the areas of Latria supposed to represent something? I always thought that 3-1 was all about hope, whereas 3-2 was about reality, and 3-3 was simply when you met the thing that orchestrated this hell.
Not during the trailer they played at the conference. Shu also never mentioned a platform or exclusivity. It was only after when they uploaded a trailer T YouTube with the Japan studio logo. They also released a third version of the trailer with a short clip saying "only on playstation".Wait....There was doubt?
It says Sony Computer Entertainment & PlayStation Japanstudios at the beginning of the trailer, geez.

DS2 team have been working on DS2 up until 3 months ago.
Though they are probably now working on this to bring it out spring 2015.
IM BACK
WHAT DID I MISS
So that the club of negativity that you preside would not berate the company because of framerate issues and technical concerns that permeate a gams still in development.

I really hope that Bloodborne is as thematically rich as Demon's Souls.
Not sure, but I do remember a Gameinformer Miyazaki interview for Demon's Souls from a few years back.
"Rather than calling them difficult, its more appropriate to say there are two areas that were meant as places of evil intent. The first one is the Tower of Latria (man-made evil) and the second is the Valley of Defilement (natural evil). The difficulty level of Valley of Defilement 2 was born from this idea. We made it a swamp that no one would even want to set foot in. Its one of my personal favorite (and most hated) areas, so I mightve overdone it! (laughs)".
I think this was burried

They're probably doing DLC. I doubt any of DS2's team is working on Bloodborne. Maybe a few, but still.
