For those wondering Nintendo confirmed that they will have an extended look at Codename Steam on tomorrow's Treehouse live stream. They said they are gonna go really in-depth. I can't wait. The idea and developers behind this game interest me, but those screens look bad. I hope tomorrow's coverage sells me on STEAM.

It's like Nintendo realized that.... instead of depending on the Press to cover them fairly.. they might as well just do it themselves. It's kind of a dangerous precedent.. but.. damn.. I can't wait to see the in-depth on STEAM. O_O
Very excited for Steam footage. Im also holding an incredibly unhealthy expectation that they'll end the treehouse with Zelda U footage or discussion at least.

Reggie joins the Treehouse on Day 2 at the 7:16:35 mark, and the discussion is pleasant enough, just going on about the games from Nintendo out on the showfloow, but here is the part I'm talking about:
"Here is a game that just launched, that...for any other company, they'd be touting as 'our great new content', but for us it's like 'It's a great game, we launched it three days ago, we're moving on.'" Sam and Ed seem to be backpedaling as much as they can trying to make up lost ground, and I don't blame them, seeing as Tomodachi Life is still looking like a niche game that could use the signal boost unlike Mario Kart 8...but I still wish they'd show something with regards to DLC for MK8, or more importantly the announcement they are patching in some real options to tweak to our hearts' content and a stats tracker. Having vertical splitscreen and the fact I can't change that is so bloody annoying, and how else can I tell how many coins I've collected so far?

Yes, it was a stealth announcement like Mario Party 10. The game has been out in Japan, but this is the first time they have announced it is coming to the West.

I doubt it. Their focus is going to be on showing STEAM and the other games coming up. They've already made a ton of announcements too that they don't really need to.

Yes, it was announced for both US and Europe.
Saw this yesterday and watched again, but Ken's survivability as Marth is insane. He just barely ever takes any damage.

IGN runs a separate stream from Nintendo. Treehouse will still be running while IGN does this. It could be an unannounced game, but I find it likely that it will just be STEAM. Treehouse is confirmed to be demoing STEAM and when IGN released that schedule, it was before the game was announced. That said, who knows, maybe Nintendo has one more ace up their sleeve. They certainly don't need it though.
Well, thats on the UK Nintendo YouTube so it should be cobfirmation for EU atleast?
And I found it in Nintendo UK tweet, says 15 so I guess thats it.

it really worked too. this format is amazing for people (us) who care about this type of stuff. I felt bad but I was watching GameXplain's coverage and first impressions of some games and for everyone of them I was just like "yep, I already know that. yep I've already seen that. yep already figured that out." it really is a great way to bring the E3 experience to people at home. with only two days of coverage Nintendo has forever spoiled us for E3

I hope they show off more indie gameplay. That part of the show was The best yesterday. The feels I got from that spaceship game. THEM FEEELS! Also, bring on STEAM and Zelda Williams. Today is the day, I can feel it in my brains, today is the day we will either get 1. MM3D & HD 2. New Metroid or 3. More Splatoon gameplay. MARK MY WORD!
