lmao, so I was just at a Ralph's grabbing drunk food and the guy in front of me had a Kings hat. Standard Go Kings Go, guy turns around.

"Yeah man, I'm turning myself in next week. I was sitting there thinking they have to win tonight so I can touch the cup before I go to jail. One last moment!"

To be fair, it's a completely different team with Gabbo. Entire complexion of the roster changed when he came in. Even more so when Sutter moved Carter to center Pearson and Toffoli, and Williams to add possession and scoring to the third line. Which is only possible with Gabbo on the roster.. Pre trade and post trade Kings are wildly different. Remember that two month stretch of Goddamn zero offense before the Olympic break? Zero might be giving the team more credit than they deserve. It was a nightmare.

Pretty much the perfect deadline acquisition. Thank God for BJs.

Easy? That was anything but easy. Flyers, ok they matched up well against. But the Pens were tough (coming back from down 3-1), and the Habs have forever killed the Rangers.

It's funny too because there were rumours of Sutter being canned earlier in the season when the Kings were going through their rough patch. Gaborik really pushed them over the edge, and was to the Kings what Vanek was suppose to be for the Habs. He's the example every GM will look at when trading for guys at the deadline.

And each one of those goalies played their asses off and none of those goalies were the reason those teams lost the series.

We get it. You're still salty that the Rangers beat the Habs. Move on already.

Mason saved 94% of their shots and went 2-2. You should replace him in your list with Emery who started the first three games and was awful in two of them.

The NHL.com bracket challenge came down to the tiebreaker for third place where they had to guess how many goals would be scored in the finals. One guy picked 30, the other picked 119. Better luck next time, kid.
