Kroos and Muller were both great, but Portugal were fucking dire. Pirlo and Modric were better than Kroos, RVP was better than Muller. Although Oscar was pretty shit tonight, could swap him for Muller.

I would try to squeeze James Rodriguez in here somehow, but I'm biased.
He's actually never played for them at any level. Bought and loaned out immediately due to not getting a work permit. He received one last summer but was still loaned out again. Will be interesting to see if he ever plays for Arsenal or not.

Well they need someone to rotate with Giroud, so wenger would be wise to at least give him a chance.
Although Wenger seems to revel in understaffing in quality for certain areas for whatever reasons (gks ever since seaman until sczensy, now with giroud).

That should be a fun game. Spain loves to keep the ball and Chile seems to be in constant attack mode.
So... right now Brazil is the leader of group A on the shoulders of crucial mistakes by the referees. And it's not only the penalty against Croacia, but the two badly disallowed goals of Mexico against Cameroon.
If Mexico had those goals (and their 3-0 victory), they would be in a very nice position right now on the group, as leader and problaby able to play for a draw in his last game to keep this position.

Best result for Mexico tomorrow would be a CAM-CRO tie, but I don't see it as likely, so if Croatia win, man, dat third match is going to be super rough.

spain are in a dreadful spot if chile tank australia and beat the dutch. presuming the dutch tank the aussies as well, it puts them both @ 6 points with good goal differences. spain will need to destroy australia and chile to be certain. i can't see where the goals are going to come from
