Green Blood - Kakizaki Masasumi

Relevant to most of GAF since so many love boobs and so many seem to have issues with them:

I think it's called Prison School and is not remotely safe for anything.

Kangoku Gakuen. Its really weird but interesting :p

Edit: ^ i loved Green Blood! Sucks that it was short tho.

Boys on the Run by Hanazawa Kengo

Listen, it's really hard finding a single image that can really convey what's so great about Boys on the Run. Please, even if the two page spread I posted does nothing for you go pick up a copy of volume 1 of Boys on the Run. It's a really great, heartfelt, slice-of-life type comic.

Read it or I'll cut you

Blame! Manga.

I'm going to choose an offbeat picture. I love the full shots of the areas in this manga. This manga is full of what I guess you could describe as industrial porn. Very detailed artwork.

Sorry if the images are large, not sure how to do that thing where images can be clicked for full size.

OP explains it:
OP said:
3. One page per post. Maybe more than one if this thread doesn't get a lot of traction but let's keep the clutter to a minimum for consistency sake. If it's a large image, put it in quotes so it won't take up the entire page. Basically just be courteous.

Ookami no Kuchi: Wolfsmund by Kuji Mitsuhisa. A group of rebels consistently tries to make it through a seemingly impenetrable fortress checkpoint called "The Wolf's Maw" and, when they fail, are subjected to the torture and interrogation of the brutal governor.

Even though it's finished and I've read spoilers for it, I'm convinced Volume 6 doesn't exist and it's simply a clever ruse to piss me off. I can't even find it on Yahoo Japan auctions. I only need to read one more chapter to finish it. One more.

Hard to pick just one image from Gantz, but

Anything with Hoi Hoi is golden.
Hated the ending though, felt super rushed and the anime differed GREATLY to it's manga counterpart.

Still waiting on a season 4 of the anime I don't want to spoil myself, this anime is definitely on my top 3. I really want to see Ippo Vs Miyata.

HOLYLAND - Mori Kouji
I'm gonna keep mine simple, this manga has a special place in my heart, helped me get through a tough time.

Kingdom by Yasuhisa Hara

Fictionalized account of the Warring States period, particularly the period where the first emperor of the Qin dynasty became king of Qin. Lots of huge battles and all around bad-assery.

One-Punch Man by Yūsuke Murata (Illustration) and ONE (Story)

Discovered that manga on the young jump web comics website a long while ago, the story and characters are amazing, as is the drawing (thank you based Murata).

One can read it in japanese for free here: http://tonarinoyj.jp/manga/onepanman/
As well as the original storyboard/manga by ONE: http://galaxyheavyblow.web.fc2.com/
And finally, Murata also streams himself drawing the manga every once in a while, might interest people who'd like to see his technique: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/nebu-kuro1

Never had you pegged for an Asano fan. You should post in Mangagaf. Lot of those in there.

any particular reason? I don't have as extensive a knowledge of manga as I do of western comics, and in fact as far as I am aware Oyasumi punpun is the only Asano work I've ever read. Is there some defining characteristic of Asano's work that seems at odds with what you perceive me to generally enjoy? I enjoyed Punpun for its depressing moments of aching loneliness mixed in with the casual depictions of family and social drama that resonate with me personally, and I didn't feel its oddness got in the way, like I sometimes tend to in anime and manga.
