Which yet-to-be-revealed veteran do you think will look most impressive in SSB4, if they're in fact in the game?

This question is inspired by Ike. Remember how blown away we all were by how great he looked in SSB4? The sculpted armor, the bright colors, the physique, etc. What other veteran could also impress?

For example, I bet Wario will look super-expressive... But I'm probably most excited to see what Ganondorf looks like. He's a very complex and detailed character design, which I think will look great in HD, and the brighter color scheme should make his fiery orange hair stand out.

Ganondorf got quite the upgrade, graphically, for Brawl. I imagine his look will remain pretty constant considering he wasn't in Skyward Sword.

Falco's look hasn't really changed much, and I don't expect it to. Nor Wolf's.

GAW won't, of course. Not sure what else can be done with ROB. Jiggs will look the same. Ness will look the same.

Wario? I haven't played his games. I think they're trying to steer away from the realistic denim look of Brawl. I don't see what could be done there other than improve textures. Maybe make even more f-flab poke out of his clothes? Ugh.

Dr Mario making a comeback from Melee leaves some room for improvement.

Metaknight will probably get special care considering he's Sakurai's, but I thought he looked great in Brawl, so...

Every time I see characters like this, I think to myself that Captain Rainbow would be a pretty awesome franchise if it kept highlighting these underdogs with hilarious subplots like the first one did.

I heard it's pretty good, but I've never been into the patching stuff. I probably should look into it, there's a lot of games I want to play that have fantrans. But I'd rather these games get official releases, but a lot of time that's just wishful thinking.

I was never a Sable diehard so I don't mind him being an assist trophy. His attack is also in line with the combat in his game, so it's pretty cool.

People had hoped Ashley, Takamaru and Wonder Red would be playable. This Prince didn't seem to have the same support for playable status.

I totally see a future where StarTropics gets overlooked again due to its precarious standing, but an AT would mean that not only did someone remember the franchise but we'd get to see a 2014 rendition of the character (which would be his first "new" look since 1994) and said rendition would be active on screen during matches no matter how rarely.

I agree, it'd be great. I just wonder if Sakurai would be willing to make an AT of a character who never appeared in Japan. I wish he would, since I'm sure there are Japanese players who would find him interesting in the same way there are U.S. players who find Prince Sable here interesting.

Pic of the day. In this Smash Bros. installment, this little guy is also making an appearance! I…don't know his name, but he's the Prince of the Sablé Kingdom. He's from the Game Boy game Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (translated as The Frog For Whom the Bell Tolls), which was only released in Japan.

Here's the trophy of the Sablé Prince. He transforms into a snake or a frog, and unloads multiple attacks on any opponent he catches. Keep attacking your foes when they're trapped in his dust cloud.

Part of me is super-sad that Prince Sablé won't be playable, but I'm also extremely happy that the game is getting some sort of representation in Smash! As long as we get the main theme as music somewhere in Smash 4/5, I'll be happy. Congrats to Prince Sablé!

It's definitely an oddity of the Nintendo brand, and if it's gonna appear anywhere again, it would probably be Smash Bros., but I'm pretty sure they have no right to use the "characters" anymore.
