So the Xbox One launches today in Japan...

The thing is, PS4 is doing terrible in Japan due to its western focus, why would anyone but hardcore Xbox fans want to buy an XB1 instead?
MS tried to grow the 360 userbase by having JRPG exclusives, which was a good idea in and by itself, but they stopped doing so when they realized the results were kinda disappointing for the efforts they put in. It didn't do well by any means, but hey, they tried. As for the XB1, they're not even trying.
Western multiplats perform better on PS4, Japanese console games will go on there, and it's also cheaper. After the initial launch weeks, XB1 will fall behind and won't recover.

There is that Platinum game. There are a few other Japanese devs making a game for it too, I believe.
Who knows? They've been on radio silence for quite a while. However, I'm sure they would be more than happy to make exclusive shooters for the X1, but is MS willing to throw more money at Japan when there's nothing more to gain from that market?
Yeah, I'm not expecting it but could happen.

This is less of a laugh of how bad Xbone is and more to do with the purposeful disinterest in the Xbone just because it isn't Nintendo/Sony.
If I limited myself to English made games only I wonder how lacking my entertainment would be.
I managed to make just one Japanese person like the Xbone more than PS, through Dance Central. That's it.
