I'm getting Smash 3DS Digital for sure.

Physical for Wii U, though. Especially because of the Gamecube Controller/Adapter Bundle.

I'm double dipping for the 3DS, digital and physical, not sure if I'll do it with the WiiU version too

Yeah, and it's too tall too! Obviously it's the one character from a different fire emblem game.

Anyway, I'm actually surprised this game hasn't been leaked. Maybe Japanese people aren't excited enough for it.

Well now your just getting into semantics, aren't you?
:p

I think it might be fear. Nintendo suffered a blow thanks to the ESRB Leak and now the ninjas are prowling the streets. Can one of our friends waking up confirm this?

Looking through the tips, I found a few things (but nothing super exciting). Confirmation of the Sheriff AT, the Pac-Man Ghosts AT.

Also, Star Man (Smash Run) description:

"An alien-like enemy that teleports around and attacks with the PK laser [beam]. If hit, you will be paralyzed for a short time.'

Sheriff AT description:

"The Sheriff's bullets are fast and have high-damage and strong knock-back. They're physical bullets so they can be reflected, but not absorbed."

The tips menu seems to cycle randomly, but if anyone wants a specific AT/Smash Run enemy translated, I might be able to help.

Leaks should probably start tonight or tomorrow morning JP time. I'll be getting my copy tomorrow at any rate.

I cannot even believe how little leakage is coming from samurai's waffled UT. If not for that ESRB video everything would still be according to his divine and master plan to usher all beings into the heavenly realm

Honestly, Palutena as a character in game seems boring for me. She has two deflection moves and she seems like she'll be a slower, heavier character which I've never had as much fun with. However, her personality and all of her taunts are overflowing with charm and hilarity (what is the one she says about purifying or cleaning) that I may have to use her. Hopefully theres also some codec scenes with her and the rest of the cast on the KI:U stages.
Her specials look fine, but it's her smash attacks that really make her stand out. Her Up Smash with the light pillar has insane range (floor to ceiling!), and her Side Smash has long reach with her angel wings. Looks like she has some cool multi-hit combos with her twirling staff/shield bash, too.

I don't think so - he has the same hair color as the other two classic Links, so I think it's based on something.

The hair color not always is changed to be the same as the character it's referencing. For instance, Palutena's Viridi alt is not blonde. The Xenoblades characters Shulk is referencing don't change their hair color either.

AT/enemy confirmations are the primary thing that I'm hanging my hype on at this point. I will be somewhat devastated if the unlockable AT's from Brawl don't return, because that would mean Advance Wars, Custom Robo and Golden Sun all having their representation shamefully reduced...

Masked Man

I said wow
And yet apparently they weren't even in the original Japanese version.
I wonder what the story behind that was.
Interestingly enough I'm pretty sure I read once that those endings were only available in the English versions of the game. Might be remembering wrong but I'm pretty certain.

Whoa, I totally didn't know that! Now I'm really curious as to how those came to be. Maybe it was Sakurai's way of providing a little "something special in English" for overseas players.

I always feel weird whenever people talk about how much they love Hades when he was honestly one of the most annoying characters in the game for me.
Personally, had the characters all talked a little less, I would've enjoyed the story quite a bit more. But that's just me, I understand that a lot of other people here really liked Uprising and its writing.

Interesting. I only played it in Japanese, so I wasn't familiar with a lot of the English cast, but in doing a quick comparison, I can see what you mean. The English VA drifts a little too far into smarmy/campy for my liking. I envision him as more of a B:TAS Joker character, but sadly I didn't have a hand in localizing the game. (If only...!)

Still think that was the wrong decision - those palettes of Palutena's would look so much better with the appropriate hair colour, as would Ike's.

My point is that because his hair does change, just like the NES look and the SNES look, it's probably based on something. I wouldn't be looking for a source if the hair stayed blond.
I'm just mad because the pajamas aren't in, even though Skyward Sword opening outfit did for normal Link.
