Wiius have gone for $125 on there before
ps4 went for $200 (and the second time they went for $250)
3ds xl I personally picked up for $95 shipped
vita I picked up for $90 shipped
I got my wiiu for $240 shipped (mario bros deluxe model)
a ps3 often goes for $100 or less
the 360 super slims have been $100 before
the older models of the 360s have been as low as $50.
and they all come with a small return window if there is anything wrong.

You can also get lucky on amazon warehouse where every once in a while they go stupid cheap with things.

I have a hobby of hunting for video game deals and I often just chuckle to myself when I see an influx of items in this thread that recently got sold cheap... such as the wiiu pro controllers a few weeks back that amazon sold at $10 each being sold in here for $20+ not that I think there is anything wrong with that, just because they got it for $10 doesn't mean they have to price it any lower then they would if they bought it at full price.

there have also been threads for medical bills for users and cats that get donations of items and ask for donations while they give away stuff after certain points to people who apply to get said items in the thread, but again the donations are not required to actually win stuff, they are typically just used as a placemarker for when the next wave of stuff will come out.

Maxcriden created a thread for my medical situation where we're giving away stuff. While there is a very thin line on things of this nature on GAF, it feels great to give things back to the community, even if people didn't donate. The good, positive vibes help just as much. What Eddie was doing was taking advantage of a situation with the raffle.

I think it's a bullshit that he's saying he's going to try to get the orders out, you paid for the Wii U a few days ago, I feel he should have shipped it out. He's just stringing you along at this point.

as long as you consider best buy a legit retail I would consider cowboom a legit site as it is owned by best buy. It's their version of amazon warehouse. I haven't had an issue with them (well my vita has one bad speaker and that wasn't mentioned but I didn't care enough to send it back as if I play with sound I play with headphones, my wiiu came shipped in the original box with everything inside plastic sealed ), and most of the people over on CAG haven't, and the few that have had an issue (system showing up missing something or damage) the customer service seems to have been good (refund for the cost of the missing item in the amount that would allow them to buy it new off of best buy... so for an hdmi cord it was like $40 lol or just a simple send yours back we will send you a new one, though sometimes people only got the option to send it back)

To get most of the amazing prices you either have to have good timing (looking at something as it comes up) or combine a coupon with it (the ps4 was down to $200 because they were selling them at $300 with a $100 off coupon that worked on it that was supposed to be deactivated but they honored anyway)

Roms and digital releases don't change the prices of other systems so I doubt that would matter. Collectors want more than just the ability to play the game, otherwise earthbound wouldn't sell for hundreds of dollars

For sale is one backlight modded Gameboy Advance AGB 001. I'm asking $140 shipped. PayPal and U.S. buyers only, please. I now have an additional one of these mods and would rather sell it than have an extra unit laying around that I won't use. These mods are quickly becoming increasingly hard to find as the screens used in the mod are limited in quantity and starting to run out causing some sites such as Rose Colored Gaming to position them as a mod they will no longer be able to sell. Please note this is GBA hardware however the system's case that was used for the mod may be aftermarket. This is a pre-modded unit I originally purchased from a seller online. The screen is clean with no dust behind it (I carefully cleaned it myself) and the backlight is crisp and vibrant. Brightness is somewhere in between the SP's default and "brighter" settings if that helps as a comparison. I have been playing it all summer with GBA, GBC and GB cartridges and it works great and is an absolute blast to use. Here are some pictures of it in action:
