Well the issue is that the in game mission details for the Raid say "rewards" making it seem guaranteed. And the fact that you NEED the raid gear to get to level 30 makes it even worse, since there is no other avenue. I feel like I will be stuck at 28 forever.

does it suck not getting what you want? sure. but at the same time you don't need level 30 for anything yet and the raid has been out for one week. there's still plenty of time to run it and get armor to get to 30

I just want a large open map like Valhalla. Snipers and Shotties with a nice open middle and the close quarters combat around the edges. Too much junk in the middle of all the Destiny maps.

Just FYI since we were discussing it earlier and many are approaching 200: according to reddit, Vanguard/Crucible marks max at 200 and anything you earn after that is lost.

it's not quite like that- doing a bounty gets you a mission "consumable." anyone in your fireteam with one of those when you go to do the mission will get the reward.

Just keep re-rolling until you get the Restoration story mission, it's the easiest. There's only around 6 story missions in the rotation anyway so it shouldn't take long to get it.

Yeah, you'll get one every time. The only thing stopping you really is your number of "tickets".

Yep I've done three in a row and gotten the same gear each time. Each time I've dismantled it and gotten 3 shards.

Every now and then that happens, but shotguns are infinitely more annoying then fusion rifles. Fusion rifles require a degree of skills and knowledge. Where shotguns are just a safe way to run around.

Control is the main mode I play, so yeah. Even in the beta it was obvious how screwed those placements were, so cue facepalm when I got the retail game and saw A in the exact same spot.

I don't really know how the map flows in other modes though. I'd still imagine it being heavily focused around the B hallway.

You can't buy for alts. Unless it's a weapon of course.

Is there really any argument here? Titans got all of the cool looking armor. Warlocks and Hunters get garbage. At least capes look cool. Warlocks get to choose between jackets with one strap or two. I chose one strap.

Nightfalls are hard and I think everyone needs to be pretty good. I did the last nightfall twice, and the difference was quite pronounced. The first time we blew through it and downed the boss without wiping once, or even coming close to wiping. The second time we spent over 1.5 hours and didn't even come close to finishing. Some people go into the nightfalls without even the right weapon types.
