2K and Turtle Rock have confirmed that those who have already pre-ordered Evolve from participating retailers, and any who pre-order it in the coming weeks, will be guaranteed access to the alpha test on their preferred platform.

I assume they'll be detailing this more soon? Doesn't mention which retailers or any other details yet.

Xbox One players get a 24-hour head start and will be able to play from October 30th to November 2nd.

A limited number of PC and PlayStation 4 players are also welcome to join the hunt from October 31st and November 2nd.

Alpha/beta have no meaning anymore when it comes to platform exclusive stuff like this it seems. Played the Destiny alpha, which was just the beta with 1 less location.

Thanks so much Quentyn! I was going to say, nowhere in their article does IGN mention anything about a code lol. Was able to submit my entry using the multi-code so we'll see if I'm selected, would be fun to play this game since I haven't had a chance to yet and it looks like it has potential to be pretty sweet.

Looks pretty boring in all the videos but it has been getting a fair amount of positive press.

This game needs a solid demo release the way they did for Left4Dead. An exclusive Beta was a bad idea given that this is a new IP and seems to benefit greatly from hands-on experiences.
