I dont know how to use specific game ones. Im using the control panel method, I believe what you are talking about involves nvidia inspector and is more complicated?

It's just a matter of copying and pasting a single line. Select the FEAR profile and copy this:

SLI compatibility bits (DX1x) said:
0x000202F5 (F.E.A.R. 3)

Then paste it into the same section in Mordor's profile.

edit: on Lucasart, surely if its coming to GOG, its coming to Steam correct? especially with the latest Disney push on steam

Seems likely. There will probably be a GOG exclusivity period, though.

Why did they canceled Battlefront 3 and Star Wars 1313 again? It had so much promises.

Edit: oh nvm Battlefront 3 is still on. Thanks god. I thought it was canceled.

, I'd still buy them all again if they were released on Steam (or on GOG if they aren't).
Amazing games, still love to replay them all every now and then.
What's your favourite LucasArts adventure SteamGaf? For me it's probably DotT. I wish games could be as funny again as they were back then.

Apparently my POP/latency issue was recently fixed, even though my ISP hasn't contacted me in over three weeks (I was promised a resolution by COB on the 10th, but that didn't happen):

Pinging ii.net [203.173.50.151] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 203.173.50.151: bytes=32 time=20ms TTL=249

20ms is 7ms less than what I was getting with my previous ISP. Now I just have to muster the interest to play CS instead of Styx.

1.6/Source or are you moving to GO?

Can't say he's wrong. I'd love to have numbers on how many consumers are actually aware of resolution and framerate and care for it at all.
Before I got into PC gaming I really didn't care. I noticed that the image quality was blurrier than my desktop applications but did it stop me from buying games? I also didn't really bother with framerate because you just had to deal with it on console - there was no way to improve it on the platform. Now obviously I can't and don't want to go back but yeah.

in the grand scheme of things, especially on consoles, he is most very likely right

GO. I prefer 1.6 to GO, and GO to Source, but I don't really have much of a choice in the matter: outside of organised scrims and stupid server-side mods, 1.6 has been practically dead here for years now and GO's sharp rise in popularity spelled similar doom for Source's active playerbase. In fewer words, if you want to play regular CS, GO is more or less the only option.

My favourite is probably Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Such an amazing game. I played it for years with my best friend while I was growing up, never getting tired of it. We tried all three paths multiple times. My favourite path is probably the Indy + Sophia one.

Then The Secret of Monkey Island, being the first PC game I finished all on my own when I was 6, has a special place in my own heart.

But truth be told I love all the Lucasarts adventure games that I played over the years. I'm still missing the Indiana Jones games beside FoA, Loom and Maniac Mansion (I did try this in DotT, but I couldn't go very far).

I'll buy them all again, of course.

Shameless self promotion

I created a group for those who want who want to clear their backlog.
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/sgafclub

This is a new iteration of what Arthea tried to make in his thread but didn't go so well due to lack of interest. The idea is same as before, each week we pick a game or two where we try to beat in one week's period.
I have invited some of you to the group already. If you want to clear your backlog please join the group.

You know, I just realized I own the Original Soundtrack for Valkyria Chronicles.
Still wrapped, the OBI is just too pretty, I have the MP3s/Source PS3 files handy for listening.

some people sure seemed to care when the Wii was only strong enough to put out games at SD resolution instead of in HD.

That was about resolution, too.

Ubisoft loves to push graphics and talk about how great and detailed their games look, but when people start talking about aspects of the visuals that don't measure up, suddenly it's "lol who cares about that stuff?"

You don't get to push visuals and say "LOOK HOW AWESOME OUR GAMES LOOK GUYS YOU SHOULD BUY EM" and then pretend you're above the conversation when it turns in a direction you don't like.

Oh god, Vanquish too!? I'm happy for it but I'd rather have Skies of Arcadia. It seems like an easy port too.

EDIT: Bayonetta too. An action fighting game like Rising did pretty well on Steam so Bayonetta should do pretty well too.

EDIT: MGS Bayonetta.

Let's hope @SEGA does the right thing and brings Vanquish to PC next.

The guy works at Valve

Happening for sure it seems.
Unlike VC I didn't finish this one, but I really wanted to start it over again, 60fps and mouse will make the game an completely new experience.

Heck yeah. I imported the OST as well after finishing the game. I did open it though.

I cant wait for the meltdowns when Valk is 720p locked at 30fps and Vanquish is locked at 1080p, I really cant :p

Vanquish is definitely going on the "buy" list, but I'm still holding out for Anarchy Reigns for PC. :s
