Did anyone catch the older Inkling/mollusk popping from the hatch, looking around dazed with a skipper's hat on? He's my new favorite. I'd buy the Amiibo version of him, although having the skin available for vanilla multiplayer would rock.
Who is the composer for this?! Sounds amazing! Reminds me of Soichi Terada's stuff.
Don't know about you guys, but this has raised my opinion of Minegishi even further. He's such a great musician.Musician: Toru Minegishi
I need to know who the composer is.
"I'M SO HUNGRY I COULD EAT AN INK-A-LING!"By the way, look closely. 1:26. Bloopers and Octoroks.
The way they look in the manga panels super reminds me of eric guillons sketches of the minionsGetting big Minions/Rabbids vibes from the tentacles-thingies.
Best part of the collage is that strategy guide (notice the price-tag) that might indicate the level progression for this campaign.I seriously cannot get over the incredible style this game has. It honestly doesn't look like a Nintendo game, yet that's not bad in any way whatsoever.
Looks like its just a bunch of missions on the multiplayer maps
"I'M SO HUNGRY I COULD EAT AN INK-A-LING!"
Getting some nice Chibi-Robo vibes from this game, too.
Re: Old Inkling, notice his lapel pins? That means he's a commander/captain/commodore of some kind.
What if everyone was a descendant of Bloopers & Octoroks & the war has been going on for years & years between the two?By the way, look closely. 1:26. Bloopers and Octoroks.
He'll encourage us to try a hop-and-splurt whenever enemy painters are surrounding.maybe he'll be yelling commands at you like Peppy
Duh, what else? The aliens that didn't make it to the Lylat System? What if everyone was a descendant of Bloopers & Octoroks & the war has been going on for years & years between the two?
Just let me make my own character and I'll perhaps buy TWO copies. One for a friend. This game looks amazing.
It's hard to tell how involved the campaign will be. Bosses? Narrative? Unique levels? I'm not sure if it's just a bunch of squid bots hanging around in the multiplayer stages.
The written language in this world deserves some respect of its own as far as design goes:
I swear this language borrows enough from every written language style and mixes them all together expertly enough where Japanese and English readers alike would swear that they would be able to read it if they only had a longer look at it.
Not to mention the comic frame to the right in the image above looks more manga-esque whereas a lot of the wall graffiti looks western-influenced.
I seriously cannot get over the incredible style this game has. It honestly doesn't look like a Nintendo game, yet that's not bad in any way whatsoever.
Seems like you'll be able to choose skin color and gender. Maybe you can choose what color you like as well.Just let me make my own character and I'll perhaps buy TWO copies. One for a friend. This game looks amazing.
Hopefuly there's more diversity in terrain and elevation for the arenas than what's been shown. If that's instead being given to the campaign levels, then I don't know where the team's priorities lay. These are clearly levels meant to be played single player, the mp maps are basically flat arenas with some towers.
What if everyone was a descendant of Bloopers & Octoroks & the war has been going on for years & years between the two?
Edit: Orange Inkling is canon as fuck btw.
Would be hard for a 8 players game to not have online. All this needs is rock solid online, and it could become a defining WiiU title.
There is online right?
