Its really lame that the art style and overall mood is just an evolutionary version of Street Fighter 4. I dig SF4 a lot, but I wanted a Street Fighter sequel to change things up again, to start a new era. This is just a continuation of the previous era.

Also, I wonder if Capcom or Sony will front EVO PS4s for this.

At this being the megaton or being a letdown? Personally this grabs my attention much more than a lot of the other rumors in the other threads.

For now, KI has reason to try and be THE premiere fighter on it's console. Unless Microsoft takes that good relationship they built with SNKP over the 360 and original Box lifetimes, and gets Fatal Fury/ KOF exclusive.

If that happens I'd definitely buy an XBO for a MOTW sequel.

Game looks sharp. It seems like a more fully realized version of the look they were going for in SFIV.

Might jump on the Street Fighter train for the first time in a very long time. Especially since my PS4 has been pretty popular for couch play in my apartment. Since I have minimal experience, it could be fun to have everyone learn the game together. I know my GF likes fighting games so that's another incentive.

Between this and MK10 I'll be pretty set with fighting games.

A lot of people who are mad about this potentially being and Titanfall becoming an exclusive didn't care about 3rd parties shunning Nintendo's platforms even with the more popular Wii. What comes around goes around.

It's a sad state of affairs when a platform doesn't get support. Hopefully it is a timed exclusive.


Speaking of which I find it disingenuous when people say they care about games but a timed exclusivity for a game more than a year makes that game worthless. Do you care about gaming or only graphics?

As much as I like my WiiU, Nintendo made its bed and lied in it with regards to third-party support. They took a gamble and lost.

First TR being held back from Playstation, and now Street Fighter not coming to Xbox.

I'm not denying that Capcom is pissing people off with this decision, but you clearly had a different reaction to both games and their exclusivity arrangements. That's the point.

Looks cool, but a bit noisy. Like a fighting game mixed with a music visualizer on a computer.

I really wish we could have 2D Capcom back. Imagine Street Fighter III's art direction, but in 1080p with tons and tons of high budget, hand drawn animations. Yes, we've had stuff like Blazblue and Guilty Gear with high res sprite work, but none of those animate in the same smooth way that Capcom and SNK's fighters did on far inferior hardware.
