Yeah, that's why I'd been telling people to expect a base price of $20. At such a low price you can't expect the "console tax" to be taken off the top.

With Ground Zeroes and FSX both releasing on the 18th, I think there's a good chance of them being among the first set of Dailies, particularly with Dovetail saying the latter will launch "at a spectacular introductory price".

Errr my new rig is up and running and I launched CS:GO to try it out (4690K and 970).
FPS's at everything high is 300 steady but I get these HUUUUUGE input lag/frame stuttering spikes that last for fractions of seconds to even a second, rendering the game un playable. I am installing other games right now but there's a large thread in here:

Anyone having these kinds of problems? My temps are in the low 50's at max.
edit: Dark Souls doesn't have these problems, running at solid 60 with all settings high

unless it's $5-10, then there will be a lot of GZ newbies disappointed by that game in general. I paid $20 for a disc version on the PS4 and plowed through it in 100 minutes, and that includes restarts from deaths and me sneaking around and taking my time. I spent probably more time listening to the radio plays in the menu than playing the game, but i guess that's more my bad since i don't care for doing the side stuff or extra missions they threw in there.

Honestly the side stuff feels like it was just crammed in since they knew they would get even more flak with the price had it just been the main mission. Aside from the Deja Vu mission you really don't miss anything besides achievements for not playing them.

Ehh that's just like peace walker. The side stuff allows you to obtain better vehicles, equipment, soldiers and manuals. Makes the storyline easier, and some of the missions are a bitch to beat if you want an S grade.

Honestly the side stuff feels like it was just crammed in since they knew they would get even more flak with the price had it just been the main mission. Aside from the Deja Vu mission you really don't miss anything besides achievements for not playing them.

Yeah, the thing with the way i play a Metal Gear game (and i think this goes for most MG fans, really) is that im just there to see the craziness in the main game and to see what the hell Kojima did to the metal gear storyline this time around. I've never played any of the bonus stuff for MG games (like Snake Tales or the VR missions post-MGS1) and i imagine that a lot of people who played GZ kinda did the same thing i did and just tossed it aside as soon as they finished the main story mission. so stuffing the game with side stuff just seemed like a good excuse to justify the initial $40 price point they had with the game, which was and still remains a ridiculous thing to have asked for for so little content.

You are just lucky (in this case anyway) to live in tier 2 euro country. It's 40 euros here on Steam, with 10% discount applied on it making it 36 euros. Or in other words, I'm waiting until it's like 90% off because of bullshit tier 1 pricing and region locking.

Part of the bundle included Killer is Dead (NA+ROW) but when I try to activate it, from the UK, it says that it's not available in my region. To get my socom fix, I have counter strike global offensive with the socom go mod. Check some YouTube vids out of it. Really brings back the old days of socom and the room is usually crowded with people.
